If you thought Little French Key was a long way definitely don’t do the most popular run to West Bay. Maya Key is certainly a safe, convenient excursion on Roatan. There are lots of other reasons why people have strong objections to Little French Key but I know there are also avid supporters. We have never been to Little French Key so can’t pass judgment one way or the other. Nachi is certainly quieter than Paradise Beach (apples to oranges) and can be a relaxing change if you only have “older “ people in your group, who don’t need entertainment. We don’t go too often on a cruise ship day because we don’t need AI, when we are on a ship, but go occasionally when staying on the island.

Not sure how long since you went to Krazy Lobster but they have added on a small “kitchen” tip (when questioned) on our check this year. We just take it into account and adjust our tip.

The other point worth mentioning, is convenience. Since it became cruise line excursion, water taxi is directly from the dock at Coxen Hole right next to the ship. No need to take road transport, or hassle with vendors inside or outside of the port area. We have found it especially convenient with toddlers.

LOL, I think it was Fins and Flippers, Crew? we have also been going from before it became cruise line only excursion. It has been a few years since our last visit but thinking of returning next year so nice to see updated photos although it doesn’t look like much has changed since the initial developments and included set lunch. Glad it is still looking maintained.
