  1. You might want to check out getting a London Pass (https://www.londonpass.com/). If you plan on doing a lot of site seeing, the entry tickets to everything add up fast. The Tower of London is $36 alone. You need to purchase this pass before you arrive in the UK.

If you're interested in going to London Theatre download an APP called TodayTix

  2. There are places where Delta is the same price, but in most cases it is a route that SW also flies. Add to that you have to pay for luggage on most other airlines, and it makes a difference.

And good luck trying to make a change to your flight with Delta. There charges excessive amounts for doing this. SW doesn't charge you anything over the different in price, or gives you a credit for the difference it the new flight is cheaper. I love Southwest. I don't understand why people are making such a big deal about seats. It's a plane. All the seats get you to the same place. Yes, sometime you get stuck next to a baby. I don't have a problem boarding a SW plane in the "B" group, you can avoid sitting next to the crying baby.

  3. The programs have issues.;)

Ocean Boy... You need to Google - GIGO (garbage in, garbage out) is a concept common to computer science and mathematics: the quality of output is determined by the quality of the input. So, for example, if a mathematical equation is improperly stated, the answer is unlikely to be correct. :D

  4. Bumping people doesn't seem to solve the increased revenue part. RCI's cabin inventory prognosticator app must be run by their IT dept.

I have an issue with people always blame the IT Department. The IT Department creates the programs that are used, but it is non-IT people that are responsible for the data. It would be like blaming Microsoft for a mistake you made in your formula your Excel file. The IT department only supplies the tools. :D

  5. Another alternative would be to book Disney Magical Express from Orlando International Airport, which is a bus service contracted to Mears Transportation.

I second this. But you can only use the Magical Express if you're staying at a Disney Resort. I use the Go Port Canaveral shuttle for $15 pp, then use the Magical Express. You will have to give Disney reservation people a flight number

that gets into the Orlando airport around 11 am in order to get a reservation on the Disney Express. Normal check-in at a Disney resort is around 2 pm or 3 pm. You should get to Disney around noon using this.

Anything posted to my seapass account without my authorization will not be looked upon kindly.

I'm not saying it's correct. But if the small print on the website says "Everyone 21 and over will need to purchase the package, everyone needs to", Royal could say you did authorize it...

  7. Now I'm confused. After reading this thread, I went and checked for my sailing. Sure enough, the notice was there, but it still allowed me to select just DD. I would think if all have to purchase, you couldn't checkout without the required number of packages? No suggestion on the website that it doesn't go into effect until Jan 1 (we sail Dec 21). I have visions of them holding us up at check in until I pay for a package... so hopefully that exception for non drinkers is valid. As a child of an alcoholic, I don't drink.

My guess if you purchase 1 package, the charge for the other will automatically be added to you room charges once on the ship.

  8. I am not glad at all. My DW does drink and she has got the drink package each cruise since it became available. I am a non- drinker. I don't have a medical condition. I just don't drink. Never once wanted to share any of her drinks. We will now have to decide what is best for us. Both getting the drink package and completely wasting money or not getting the package and she would be charged for each drink

It's pretty simple math. Before your DW needed to have 6 - 7 drinks a day to break even, now she needs to drink 12 -14 drinks a day to break even. If she won't have that many drinks per day, don't any package.

  9. How does someone throw away teeth by mistake? Was the attendant blind? Did your husband have them wrapped up in tissues because then I can see how the attendant threw them away by mistake. If they were in a glass or just lying on the counter, there is no excuse.

I agree... I'm not sure we are getting the whole story here. They must have been wrapped in a towel or tissue and not in plan site.

  10. I've read/hear that using free public WIFI isn't a good idea because hackers can steal your data, passwords, etc. while you're connected to open public networks. Has anyone here ever ran into a problem with this in any Royal Caribbean ports?

If you're not aware of the problem Google - "how it is possible to get hacked in public spaces" and you can educate yourself about it.

  11. I had no idea, but you are 100% correct. A simple Google check

Do a simple Google check on "Elvis Alive" comes up with this story - 'ELVIS NOT DEAD' Graceland groundsman filmed THIS MONTH is 'King aged 81'.

NEWS FLASH - If it's on the internet doesn't make it true. Start thinking for yourself people.

  12. If royal want to charge then that's fine by me and their prerogative, HOWEVER. I and many others have not had a choice on whether we can or can't pay this charge. I think the main issue it's it's implementation.

Once I've done these cruises then I may decide that I want to try another cruise line that is not charging for room service or way up the costs of the other cruise line and a royal cruise where I'm paying an extra $222 on a two week cruise. We tend to have breakfast on our balcony and afternoon tea in the room when we are chilling before the evenings entertainment.

I have 3 up and coming cruises and 4 staterooms, one suite on one cruise and a balcony on another were booked with Casino VIP Vouchers.

Do Royal really want me spending my hard earned money on another cruise ship for $16 a day?

I sure hope people follow through and cancel their cruises. Less demand = lower prices for the rest of use.
