I wonder what they are going to do about the Apple iphones now....which most of us have. On the news this morning ...with the same problem.
NO, Most of us DON'T have iphone. iphones only has 40% of the cell phone market in the US.

Define 'issue'. What are you worried about?
Issue I was concerned about is blockage of a view from above. But again, after looking at it closer, it doesn't seem like it's going to be a problem. :)

I did check the location, but it's not easy to line up all the decks, the cabins and hot tubs. It looks like we will not be blocked, but I thought I would ask. It looks like there may be a bigger issue for the cabin in deck 14 that are right under the hot tubs.

We just booked a cruise on the Oasis cabin 12154 (ocean view balcony). Looking at pictures of the ship and the floor plans it looks like this room is near the cantilevered hot tub above. Is this an issue for this room. Should we consider another cabin? Thanks for any information you can provide.

You can't book the Magical Express without having a hotel reservation at a Disney resort. If the S&D isn't considered a Disney Hotel I think you're out of luck on using the Magical Express.

We are cruising out of Port Canaveral on the Oasis in Feb '17. We are heading to WDW when we get off the cruise on Sunday. I'm assuming the Disney Magical Express isn't an option from the RCL dock, but what are some options for getting from the Port to a Disney hotel? I was thinking about a bus to the Orlando Airport, then get on the magical Express. Since it will be early in the morning the extra time this will take isn't a big deal. Ideas?

Better than GM, that on average loses money every time it sells a vehicle ;)
This is not a true statement. From a Detroit News article dated February 22, 2015. GM makes average of $654 per vehicle sold.

This.
I just got off the phone as well, the promo is not valid if you booked your cruise prior to 3/11/2015.
Sounds like RCL hasn't pissed off enough of their customers, so they are trying some new ways...

I was in Orlando this weekend for a conference (not on Disney property either) and paid $15.00 for a vodka martini (and we're talking a medium-priced vodka only-Absolute), so after tip, close to $20.00...for one martini that was only half full at that!
Hopefully you found someplace to hide this on the Expense Report you turn in for this conference...

We were just having a little fun at Mat2000's expense. Sorry Mat, if I ever see you on a ship I owe you a drink. ;)

Will Mat2000's owed drink be one purchased from a ship bar, or one served from your smuggled stock?

Sounds like a good price. The only problem I've have with the promenade rooms is 95% of the time I look up at these rooms from the promenade, the curtains are closed. If the curtains closed all the time, why not get an inside cabin and save the $$.

How many nights?

I sailed on the Indy last week. Never saw any art displayed in any common areas or heard any announcements about an art auction. I did see a group of crew members around a table looking like they were involved in planning it. I thought I saw them printing off a number of flyers. I don't remember see it in the compass, but I could have missed it. Maybe they were planning for the TA sailing this week??

There was an extremely large participation in this program last week on the April 20th sailing of the Independence of the Seas.

I was also on this cruise and had a great time. The Cruise Director, our cabin attendant and MDR staff all did do good jobs and tried hard. But Mike is far from the best CD I've sailed with. His morning show was pretty ordinary. And the cabin attendants and waiters were also far from the best we've had in the past. We've had some very bubbly attendants and waiters were fun to be around. The ones on this cruise weren't bubbly, but I have no complaints. I know there are a lot of cabin and MDR staff and you can't make any generalizations for the whole staffs.

Just off the Indy. Didn't check the gin prices, but on our 2nd day there was a 15% off all liquor in the duty free shop on the ship.

Te fine print also states that this new card will have a revolving credit line, not a preset amount
I saw this and was concerned. When I see revolving credit, I think of a home equity loan. Does this mean that interest starts when you make a purchase like an home equity loan? Or is it like a credit card that you can pay off each month and avoid any interest?

Check the Cruise Compass. There is normally a longest drive contest on one of the days.
-
It's an 8 day cruise so it's due back on the 20th - we were on Indy 3/15 - love that ship!
The Indy alternate between 6 & 8 day sailings. I am also on the April 20 sailing for 6 days. :D

Bala1130 - Off topic question....This is along shot but are you by chance a Balamucki in MI?
Sorry, no. :(

You're also required to wear blue jeans or long pants to skate.

We are flying into FLL. We don't want to pack wine ( too heavy). Does anyone know if there are any liquor stores at The airport or conveniently on the way to the ship?
Yes wine is heavy, but we bring 2 bottle in our luggage and replace it with duty free Captain Morgan's and Bailey's on the return trip. Just put it in bubble wrap and put one in each suitcase. It's not that bad.
My power strip was taken at check in :-(

The original quote was "which most of us have". 60% of people don't have iphones is the point. 40% isn't great than 60% of non-iphones.
I have the same problem when I hear people on TV News saying "Here is a story everyone is talking about". No, Everyone is not talking about any story.
