Nice outlook! I usually move my hands out so the spray does not get on my clothes...Love the NCL washy washy policy! I also carry a little bottle of gel or wipes to have at the ready...Hands can never be too clean!
-
Thanks very much. I know it will all be good. We go with a positive attitude and try not to sweat the small stuff :-)
-
Thanks a lot!! That's the most positive thing I've heard about this cabin...are there any negatives we should know or any hints, good or bad?
Do you remember much about the center elevator? How did you find the food in the MDR and Buffet? Heard buffet is good. What about the shows? Anything I can do without? We are seniors, but young at heart.
Thanks again :-)

Thanks all for your input! I'm sure we'll be fine and enjoy it all....A chair, little table, a drink, clean air and it's all wonderful....We'll be ok in the cabin as well. Looking forward to a nice, relaxing and enjoyable cruise.
Safe sails to you always, and thanks again :-)

Thank you for your information! We are not quite mid-ship. I'm sure it will be fine. a loveseat is a nice addition. I didn't realize the regular balconies do not have them. Guess I've been spoiled on RCI and NCL...
Any more input is welcome...
It's all good :-)

Hi cruisers,
We just got an upgrade from a regular balcony Baja deck 704(BD) to a Deluxe Balcony on the Caribe Deck (DB) 618. (233 sq.ft) Does this include the balcony?
Has anyone stayed in this balcony recently and what are your thoughts? Not that close to aft elevator, but, other options were very, very forward. We have heard that Deluxe Balconies are nice.
Any information you can provide will be most appreciated. We leave in 3 weeks!

Great! We like getting to the Port (Brooklyn) around 10:30...We feel we're starting our vacation :-) Much rather wait there than be on the road...Thanks for the update... Can't wait for 10/24 to get here. Hope we have good sail a way weather...mild and sunny..
Safe sails all.

Thanks for the info! I don't think it will be noisy. Had many cabins even closer and not a problem...
I knew we'll enjoy this cruise. We've done it before and loved the sea days...
PS It's a BD Category, Baja deck...
-
Hi, I've seen tons of pictures of various cabins/locations/decks. I have not be able to find one for Baja Deck, cabin 704. Trying to see if it's covered at all.
If anyone has/had this cabin. we would really appreciate seeing pictures, if you have any, of the inside and outside of this cabin.
Many thanks in advance for your courtesy.
Safe sails. :-)

Thanks all! We may check it out and then grab a taxi to town. Plenty of time to do both I'm sure.

Hi, we're on the Regal in Oct...how close is the shopping from Crown Bay? Walkable? Do we need a taxi or free shuttle to the stores there. We've Been to Havensight numerous times and interested in seeing what Crown offers by way of stores, shops, etc. Always docked by Havensight, so "been there, done that"...
If I've already asked this, I apologize for asking again. I just don't remember...(age can be cruel LOL).
Thanks in advance.

Traditional dining should stick with their time. If they did, and cards were really checked, there would not be so long a wait for anytime diners. They should NOT allow them in during anytime dining hours. Would save a lot of aggravation for the anytime diners and they could go "anytime".
I've said my piece.
Have a good cruise! -
Thanks for the information. We do the buffet on Port days mostly. We try to eat in the MDR...less food to choose from LOL, but the buffets usually have too many wonderful choices.
-
Hi all, Was wondering if they will have those pool side buffets on our Regal Cruise 10/24? Really enjoyed them on sea days on NCL...They do a nice job!
If anyone has been on the Regal lately, maybe you could help.
Thanks in advance and can't wait to be sailing on the Regal..It's a repo from NY to FL 10 nights :-)
-
during the day, I'm sure the Romper looks lovely! Not so much for MDR, sorry.
-
A Romper by any other name is still a form of "Shorts". Not acceptable for MDR. You can, however, go to the Buffet area. Probably not accepted in special restaurants either.
-
Depending on the length of the cruise, it will range from $50 (5 days) $100 (10+ days) and 14 days = $250. Yes, there is still time to fax his DD214 to your TA or Princess for them to credit on OBC. Only he gets it. Good luck and have a good cruise.
-
what ship you sailing? Hope you are having a great cruise. Are the Escargot's well prepared? One of our faves. Also, do they have 'French/Italian/other special nights?
Thanks in advance and enjoy :-)
-
Hi cruisers, Sorry we're not familiar with the nightly Elite/Plat Event. We are Platinum, but haven't "partaken', as for some reason did not know about it.
Any helpful information/explanation is greatly appreciated! We are on the Regal, 10 night repo Oct. 24th.
Thanks very much in advance. :-)

Hi, I printed the page which says MDR OK for lunch on embark day in case there is an issue about it. I'll show the letter and "won't back down". Love MDR lunch early on, relaxing way to start our cruise.
Thanks :-)
-
Hi, can you please tell me where to print the information re embark day main dining room lunch. We also enjoy starting out 'mellow' and relaxed.
Much appreciated.

There are SO many empty cabins in most categories at this date. Surprised for sure....maybe magic will happen again and I'll try to see if we get anything if our cabin goes down to match the new sale. However, we're NOT giving up $375 OBC to save $200.
-
Yes, we've done it before and it is a great, relaxing cruise! We don't get involved with the Halloween thing! Fun to see people dressed up, décor, etc., but that's about it. Hope they have food on the menu that does NOT include pumpkin...LOL Not our fave at all. It'll be a great cruise. Love the ports (done many times on different ships as well! Maybe this time we'll get over to St. John's to check it out. Always wanted to but never seem to get to do it!! Maybe this cruise?
Thanks :-)
