  1. Late walkers. Captain waited. No runners Sea ya.
  2. Costa Maya. Pier long and hot. Shops plentiful Heat abundant Pier long an ((((HOT)))))) Back to our home away from home. Labeled appropriately This one exclusively for: Sea you.
  3. Forgot to mention that the main pool and jacuzzi around them have been roped off and routine maintenance being done on them. (June 7-9) . More to follow. Sea you.
  4. Story time. So our house sitters vary the time they go to work out at the gym or go to the lake. It has been hot back home. Well. They follow directions to a T. Activate all the alarms window, door as well as motion sensors. And up to know all has been well. So today while they were at the lake. Lizzy wanted to meet the police and did what cats do. Jump on furniture. Yup Full blown house alarm. You know that had to scare Lizzy. So our home alarm system called all listed numbers. So when they got home they just reset the alarm with password and numbers. But. I’m the last few minutes, they went to the gym activated the alarm. And Lizzy did her thing. Security system called police They just got home took care of alarm. Always something. Sea ya.
  5. Yesterday the beach bugs were on vacation. No NOSEEUMS, either on the shoreline or on the lounger area. The beach area was very organized and abundant picnic tables and loungers . My only concern was the poor options on the buffet. Kudos because they used bottled water from a bottle water company. Would I go back??? It is a possibility. The fee to go there as an excursion was reasonable.
  6. Yes. Already have the blue hard copy and transfer to. US Gov.com. Sea ya.
  7. Solar powered shirt dryer. we also do this with bathing suits once we wash rinse and put in towels to squeeze all the dampness out. Then clip on hangers. Put the hanger under mattress so wind power does not fly away. Everything usually dry in 3 hours. Sea you.
  8. The following information is from personal experience, and is not affiliated or use of copyrighted material from any source. SLOT MACHINES. I usually walk around the casino on embarkation day. See which one catches my attention. Usually at the end of a row for people to see. No modern computer generated screen. also noise when you turn up the volume. Only 3 reals Has the ability to gamble in different denominations. .25, $1, $2, and $5 per spin. Whatever I select I start by placing $100 in machine. The rest is history. Oh often I do have to put more money in. During this cruise I won 5 jackpots. The latest last night. But you will never hear about how much money was put in machine to win. For this cruise. Between win /loss ratio. I am still ahead. But folks. The slots are based on luck and technology My luck is a blessing. The machines are in the smoking section. A row of 4 machines. and above them on their header board it says “spitfire”. There is no guarantee you can win. It’s purely on the random internal program. I guess I can randomly pick a machine to my liking. And yes I am filling out my customs form. So when we disembark I have it ready for the agents. Now. Debating on doing slots or blackjack. Today we are going to walk around port. No excursions. Sea ya.
  9. Stupid me. I did not want to get all stinky so my skin was as original with no chemicals. After the hike to the beach area we found 2 loungers in the shade. I tried to nap. Spouse went in the water which he said was emasculate. Very little breeze. HOT!!!’ Had lunch. Chilled no sleep. 2 pm back to dock to catch are ride. Now this hunky girl has a some red burn marks above her top bathing suit. Not painful. But I did get a little burn. I would recommend you use sunscreen. Of course I did listen to my own advice On a side note. Had breakfast in WJ. When the server asked I wanted milk or cream in my coffee. So the cream is still in WJ. Also CK. Sea ya.
  10. Correction. Blue planet tonight. Not going. Already had a nap. Aqua theatre tomorrow Sea you
  11. I will be sharing a review of the casino eventually. Just trying to get that information organized Sea ya.
  12. MAMA MIA. Awesome AQUA SHOW tonight. If you are mobility impaired you should avoid. Steep concrete pathways. But it is done well.
  13. Late entry. The crew that performed MAMA MIA., is the same cast from August of 2022. Excellent cast members. Sea ya
  14. We were at the beach. and Drag (above) is the new Caribbean way of spelling salad dressing (😳) later
  15. The Maya Key private island retreat would score a 9 out of 10. First the good 1. Organized reception at pier easy to find. 2. Nice looking large pontoon boat with seating for all. 3. 9 min ride to island. passed along side of Lady Allure. 4. Exceptionally clean, groomed. Upkeep is obvious. Landscaping impressive. 5. Tons of lounge chairs, clean. Some open canopied, shaded areas. 6. Dining area had enough table and chairs for all to enjoy lunch. 7. Water completely clear. No sea weed. Comfy warm. Star fish in water. 8. Animal/ bird sanctuary. All areas clean. Many life guards and resource employees. 9. Water and tea free. Other beverage as well as beer/ mixers fairly priced. Not impressed by: 1. The buffet was lame. We had a big breakfast so we were good. First attendant who served salad put a mark on your wrist band to let them know you ate. Only one pass thru buffet. ( once is enough). Their servings included; a. Salad. Choice of drag b. Coconut rice and beans ( I didn’t take) c. Fried banana chips (I did not take) d. fried fish. Gave you one strip unless you asked for more e. Itty bitty fried chicken. ( pigeon). I saw some mighty fussy ankle biters not happy with lunch. And some grumbling from big dudes that the servings were sad.
  16. Good afternoon. To begin with we have been blessed to receive wine, and their version of Champagne. Plus fruit and cookies. Sea ya Shortly I will be watching the news. But for now organizing pictures from our excursion in Roatan. Andrew and Lisa Thank you for the heads up on Maya Key Private island retreat!!!! Sea you.
  17. I’ll sen you a picture the next time I go there. I do not smoke but my favorite winning machine is on smoking side. Sea ya.
  18. Good morning Do not know what is going on but I have experienced 2 days on this cruise that I am either having trouble falling asleep or just sleep for a few hours and get up so I do not disturb the spouse. Today was the early awakening. And a first for me. Some good came out of it. I was able to look out and witness daybreak. our cabin faces to the side so not able to see sunrise. I used to be dragged out of bed for lunch. Ok. Two clarifications. Coffee creamer is available. If you ask for coffee a little silver cream server as well as a container with all the sugars. Cafe Promenade has large dispensers. One for half/ and half cannot remember the other one. So when we were not served at Cafe Promenade at 1:20 am because the counter person said it was closed she was wrong per the officer responsible for food/beverage service. It will provide sandwiches and cookies. But no specialty coffees after hours. (Don’t ask cannot remember time beverages stop). Ever since then we have gotten late and I mean late night snacks. I did say how cruise compass had two times in different places. Ok later. Sea ya
