Good afternoon. Arrived home about 15 min. ago with our FREE IPhone 14's. Well, not really. So after a excellent breakfast at the local Perkins (we had a 20%off coupon) We drove the bypass to the Turnpike to get to the outskirts of Cleveland on Chagrin Blvd where the Apple store was. We were so prepared, arriving time wise 10 min early before the store opened. We were the second customers to get in the store, damn, would have been first if that older grey hair lady actually moved a lot quicker than I ever thought she could. But anyway. We checked in and quickly sent to the bar to assist with new phones. The youngin (19 Year old) took our phones. Started typing in all the information for the upgrade to FREE Iphone 14's It only took about 20 min to do both of us. She goes, you know you have to trade in to get the current offer. We go, yes we knew that. Then she goes, for the IPHONE 11 (mine) you get a $800 credit and for the IPHONE 10 you get $250 So the DH goes, no we are here about the free upgrade to the IPhone 14. So, after being there for around 23 min. she goes. Oh that is through your carrier, not us, you probably got the email from them. So now we get in the car and drive down the street to the AT&T store. Of course, no appointment. Of course, 3 people ahead of us. Of course minimal staff. Then, of course I had to snoop on one of the conversations. Mom was obviously from the old, old country. A teenager was there with his mom, and his phone says account not valid, and she just paid the bill yesterday and he needs his phone to let me know where he is (That line was a good one). It gets better She's from Turkey and speaks broken English. The kid is watching mom struggle. Then mom goes his father usually pays the bill and he is in Turkey and he has not returned our calls for weeks. He is responsible for the bill, but I had to pay it. Why is it not active if I paid $100 on the bill yesterday. The agent goes, give me the number. She did The agent goes, your husbands name is on the account. Mom goes, that's right, he pays the bills, well he is supposed too. Agent then goes, the account is in your husbands name, you cannot access it with out is permission. Mom goes, I told you he wont return our calls, but they took my money. He goes let me contact my district supervisor. This is where it gets better. So he is on speaker phone and the supervisor speaks broken English with a Chinese twist. Mom speaking English with a Turkish twist and dear old son just playing stupid or he really is. So after they attempt to resolve the problem. Mom, saying she paid the bill, Agent saying he cannot access the account. Supervisor told mom to contact the husband to obtain permission. So, here we go again. Now Niagara falls start, no tissues, mom upset, son devastated he cannot text mom (LOL). So now Supervisor approves temporary access Till Tuesday for the son. Then mom in her broken Turkish English goes, will I get money back if my husband pays the bill. At that point It was time to shut off my old phone and now start the new phone, so I missed the answer. Ok so, now we are ready to get some items, since a new phone you need new things. So I found a pretty purple case, and the husband got an otter box for his. The agent goes, currently for every product you buy, you get one free. So we picked the thingie that the charging phone fits into to go into a wall. We can use the old ones at home, but the new IPhone cable needs a new adapter, fine it was free. So, now if we pay paperless, auto deduct we get 10% off for the new contract, and it actually came down $35 from what we pay for 4 lines (brother and DD still mooch off of us). This is better than I thought (HA!) So, the agent goes, I can just add the difference to your monthly statement I go no, we will just pay it and be done with it. So he goes to the printer and gets out our contract, and goes I'll need a credit card. So I look at the paper and the balance is $1258.00 So after I come up for air, I casually go, I thought At&T is offering free I phone 14's with a new contract. He goes, oh, no, if you had an I phone 13, it would honor that, but the 10 and 11 are not included in that offer. So now the DH just sits there and goes, ok. So now, on the clean slate of credit cards is a balance of $1258. Well with the DH phone being old, and mine having a mind of its own, and the phones were just linking to our apple watches, we signed sealed and delivered. So now I have a new pretty purple IPhone 14. And as my DD would say. "Why would the most clueless people have the best electronics" No daughter as soon as your dad is done programming my phone, I will be good to go. I am not clueless Be safe Mama Lions with her pretty purple new Iphone 14 LOL I typed this online, DH just finishing what ever has to be done on my phone.

So this year we decided even though we pay our credit card off every month to avoid fees, that we are putting them away to save money for future endeavors. However, not gonna happen. How we currently are using credit cards. 1. So, the DH goes down cellar a few days back and the water tank is leaking. Have you priced a water tank lately, and installation? Well, after some research and consulting the powers that be...............(friends), we decided to go with that new tankless water heating system. Of course it will need all new piping just in the area around it, and cap off something to the outside something, with labor and parts.............................DING DING DING................ credit card. To be installed next week. 2. Now my IPhone has been doing its own thing for months, dialing numbers when it is charging, sending texts of jibber jabbish to anyone it so desires, just letters but still, and of course who can forget the "light on light off" feature when no one is near it. So new phones this weekend I Phone 14. Now when we sent an email to Apple (their to techno savy to use an old fashioned telephone lets say to talk to people) they said right now due to loyalty and our contract is paid off for a trade in we get new phones for free as long as we keep a new 2 year contract.................the last time we got phones for free, by the time you get the screen protector, accessories, case it was not free. DING DING DING ....credit card. 3. Oh and if you use your card for grocery purchases you get double back. Upto a limit... You got it DING DING DONE.......................... I float like a boat with a boogie board face/mask planted in water. If I do not apply suntan lotion it makes a great seal. No leaks. Doomed with leakage if it does not seed right. My DH dives with his underwater, and like others have said, as long as he holds his breath. He actually prefers the old fashioned mask with looped snorkel. Used it for years and hard to get acclimated to the new style. Gets the ones in Labadee to use instead of ours. Take care.

So we are the proud owners of 2 unique radios. This one in our finished basement. From great grans house. And this one in our half bath off kitchen. It was made from a kit in the late 70’s Yesterday on our way home from Akron we stopped at an antique store near Ravenna and it was the first time we ever went to one. Besides tons of junk, and over prices “ relics” we walked around for 2 hours. I cannot believe how many items looked familiar from family homes. As we walked the DH found a model car of a 66 GTO. Well sticker shock $125. But it was gold. I saw it at a different time because we went our separate different paths. Me in house stuff. Him in car stuff. So as when we catch up he goes “ did you see the…….” I finished his statement. “….GTO” I go if you want it get it. He goes it’s $125 So we go back to that area and I tell him to look through the display and see if there’s another in black. He finds another gold. Same package. But the price was $65. So now we are scrutinizing both packages. And they are identical. So we check out and that day there was a 10% discount on it. Now we have to find a way to paint it black without ruining it. I found a serving dish on a platter for $19. Yup. We will be going back. That store is massive. Today the football saga continues. We will be watching the Dolphins at 1 pm. I am making a nice eye of round dinner. Twice baked potatoes, broccoli and salad to ease the pain of the upcoming loss. At least the season for dolphins will be over today. Be safe.

@singinalot Beautiful picture. I was only gone for a weekend and had many many pages to catch up on. Football Playoffs..............................False hope. Being married to a Dolphin die hard every year over and over we go through the excitement phase of what could be another Super Bowl win.....................................not. By them making the playoffs we are now working our Sunday events around the game. Well, honestly, it should be over with after this weekend. As far as a Bella's cruise thread to share on CC all I can say is with so many who are on this cruise who are creative and have done great live threads in the past it would be something to see how it could transpire. Good morning. And it is obvious that if I am asking the same question that I asked months ago, then it is still happening. So, every time I come to CC on my home computer, it makes me sign in. I've gone into settings ( well the DH did) and it will not let me set like other sites. On my I Phone, it remembers me and also on my I pad. (or whatever it is called). My internet site is AOL (I said I was old) Any ideas on how to just let it remember me like days gone by.......so not have to logg in . TY

@brillohead In my 47 years practicing one way or another in the medical field (Rn, CRNA) I never knew about this athletic induced syndrome; that can happen to others not just athletes. When I first saw what was happening I first thought ruptured aorta or EMD from bilateral pneumo’s. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. Continued prayers for recovery.

So many thoughts on my mind. What happened is so heartbreaking. What is important is how to fix it. It is best if I just say. We need our prayer warriors to go to work. Prayers.

I ventured to the main RCI board being bored from this cold. Damn it bit me. I’ve been under the weather for a few days and just starting to feel Better. My wedding soup recipe is strait from my local church Catholic Exponent bi weekly newspaper Slow cooker on low add 1 box chicken broth 1 pound chicken 1 bag fresh spinach 1 diced sweet onion 3 diced celery 1/3 bag frozen MiNI meatballs ( about20) 1/3 cup shredded carrots after 5 hours pull chicken out and shred Add 1/3 cup coos coos 1/3 Parmesan cheese stir in so cheese melts. Cook 30 more min ENJOY
