I cannot stop thinking about this cruise. Just found this in my photos. Cannot wait to be near this for photo shoot.

Poor Lizzy just realized something is going on in the house. Animals seem to know when routines change. Time to give kitty treats and neck rubs. 💕

Starting to get the traditional fan mail from RCI. We have first checkin time and in our suite. So. We can checkin when doors open. Last time we were in waiting area at 10:05 am. 😁

The following showed up on social media. I do not own rights —- just copied as it was shared there. But how coincidental. But I’ll settle for an 8 day cruise. 😁

So after our June cruise on Allure out of Galveston the time spent in casino I found this little piece of paper in our cabin. So after much consideration and thought provoking discussion ( haha) we saw Symphony- April. Looked up itinerary. No brainer. Booked onBoard. Now some maybe doubtful of my investment so far. But in reality our final receipt says it all. As you see we paid $78. Vacation protection plan $296 Gratuities $229.92 Taxes. Which so far totals $603.92 for our “free” cruise Now being Diamond plus gets us 10 free thirst quencher’s daily. ( yup another lol) we rarely drink. And I am signature in casino. So we do not buy alcohol package. We do not do extra specialty dinning we enjoy Coastal Kitchen — except that one night when they have that goofy menu so I eat off kids menu. We paid for one excursion, I have to look up that price. Turtles in Curacao We were reimbursed for the zip line in Labadee. ( yup me zip lining) would have been third time. Ok. That’s all for now. Off to buy feeder fish for our pet turtles Slo-poke and Peeve. Peeve was our daughters turtle and when we asked her why did you name it Peeve. Her response was priceless. “Everyone has to have a pet peeve” Be safe Batten down the hatches Storms a coming.

Good morning. Yup. 3:45am. Mind racing. Trying to remember everything I need to put in suitcases. Suitcases. Remember my pretty purple luggage. Well after our Quantum cruise last August flying home was an experience. Seattle to Denver circled and circled and circled over many a western state due to all the storms. Arrived in Denver very delayed. The reason we did not miss our connector was our plane turned into connector to Cleveland. Although I was anxious from non stop turbulence. I survived without getting sick. However our pretty purple luggage was trashed, damage, broken some where somehow on the journey. So, as we started planning for this vacation we did purchase new pretty purple luggage. ( pictures to follow). If I wake up the spouse now let’s just say not going there. He has to work today. Where am I going with this?????? I plan on sharing how much this “free” cruise in a grand suite costs. Now, a few expenses will not be include. That being they were gifts. Or I’m not going to share. Stay tuned. But wait till you see my pretty purple luggage. Be safe.

Hi everyone. I am so happy my life centers around retirement. With so much free time. NOT! This past weekend I was in charge of the cookie table for our parish center dedication for one of the best Priests a Catholic Community could ask for. Now I made the buckeyes, nut keiffels, Kolachi and Almond soft batch. The women of our parish also baked for a combined total of 34 varieties. Need I say it was a great success. Today I drove for one of my few remaining babysitter for Zoey as my daughter and son in law will be relocating to a new city. Brandon was accepted as the new assistant strength and conditioning coach at ………..(to be shared soon) as he makes the official announcement. Let’s just say it will make my travels much shorter 😁 And tomorrow here in Oxford Ohio I have my eclipse glasses in preparation of the sun event. Plus getting ready for our Symphony cruise in a tad under 2 weeks. Take care. Be safe.

Good morning. At 5:32 am I was awoken by a massive thunderbolt. It shook the whole house. Rain. High winds and the thunder and lightning continued for over 45 min. I actually thought it was an invasion like the movie. “War of the Worlds “. I have not experienced that significant type of a storm in years. Today, more storms. Also our current weather map. Love your idea. Our SIL was one of the football coach for Eastern Kentucky University—— Smack in the middle of the “Bourbon Trail “. He collected a few souvenirs while working there. Yup. All those so souvenirs and he rarely drinks, always training and the “refreshments” are not on his diet. Here is where they are stored.

For dinner tonight we celebrated Easter dinner, only because I’ll be traveling tomorrow and wanted to share this holiday with my husband. So: turkey mash potatoes stuffing gravy green bean casserole Now tomorrow Easter dinner with Christina, Brandon and Zoey. Baggies to go. 💕

Good morning. Hope all are safe and healthy. Just a little update. Since we will be cruising in 22 days ish, and I had my routine doctors appointment last week He recommended a few things. 1. Two days before we travel start taking one pepto bismol pill in the evening and one in the morning. might help if you get lower noro virus reduce the outflow. 2. Get the RSV vaccine. Yes I am of age and have a few health risks. So I listened and 8 days ago I got the vaccine. For the last 7 days I have had significant pain at the injection site, that I could not turn and lay on that arm. No other issues. Now I am not a wimp. But wow it really was an attention getter. Today is the first day I woke up after sleeping soundly and when I opened my eyes I was on my right side where the vaccine was given in the upper arm. Also since I will be traveling to babysit, we are celebrating Easter dinner tonight. Keeping it simple. turkey mash potatoes stuffin Green bean casserole corn cucumber salad. Be safe.

Great point. Yup Symphony cruise in 3 weeks in a GS cost us only Port Fees. So the both of us are paying a grand total $247. ( not each - combined). So that makes the situation even better. 😳

Good morning. Well just a little change of topic from me. When I cruise with my spouse I have a daily budget that I allow in the casino. When it’s gone POOOF!!!!!! So am I for the day. Last year was a great year. Broke even. Yup That’s a good year. I had 14 hand pays from 3 cruises. Payout ranged $1400s - $3500. So I did what any self conscious American citizen would do while filing my taxes. I turned in my paper work from the cruise that I got with every hand pay and also the RCI requested win/loss form. ( which was emailed quickly). So our accountant called me and asked for my gambling log. I go. “what do you mean” She goes and I para quote…… ”…in order for me to submit I need the log you kept tracking ALL the money you put in and in addition all the money you acquired on winning spins which includes anything and all amounts. Even if it was just “2” registering for let’s say cherries….” I go. “ Your kidding…..right”. “ a log”. She unfortunately goes. “No”. So. Now I get to inform the spouse that that BIG refund we are getting is not gonna happen. And. We have to pay this year. But. The good news is we are “ Married “. again for tax purposes ( we are happily married celebrating 33 years in August). We don’t have to file separately ( like we have done every year previously) This should make him happy. NOT. Be safe.

So I am unable to enjoy the news (😔), due to the fact that the squirrel is climbing the fireplace to get into the window bird food feeder. Oh yea. Lizzy entertainment.

Today we traveled to Canton Ohio, and ended up at the convention center. We have waited for years to see Jeff Dunham. He was either too far away or we had other commitments. His show is not for one who is easily bothered by “HUMOR”, which I might say can be very very intense. It would not be on the Popes must see list for good Catholic girls. Any way. We laughed for hours. Also if your reservation was in the first class section (Prime) for lack of a better word- - you got a gift bag. Be safe.
