    Slightly off topic, but wonderful comment about the attire worn at the pool grill on the Spirit this evening. ‘The youngish “lady” was wearing a bra top and soggy arsed trousers’, later joined by her mister, wearing swimming shorts, a scruffy t shirt and flip flops.

    Why would you want to go cruising on ships that were built for Renaissance and the Pacific in the 90’s. Too big and way too old. Anyway this is an SS board, so why plug Oceania.

    Welcome. BTW most people on here don’t use Celebrity or Cunard so you need to explain a bit more and FYI it’s Silversea. The only difference in suites on SS is size, apart from those classic ships that have a Vista or Panorama without a balcony, all get a Butler and apart from a guaranteed spot in La Dame etc there are really no privileges from the top suite to the bottom.

    Is the addition of the opening window the only change made to 741? And why are you travelling in a large articulated truck 😎

    Sorry to hear of your issues @wren2. Did you eventually get your transfer? The London office is seriously short of staff at present and even simple requests are taking over a month to sort out, and that’s after multiple reminders. It’s not helped by the regular flight cancellations but this has been ongoing now for over 3 months. IMHO senior management doesn’t give a damm.
