Alternatively why not try a number of segments. We have have been on multiple segments on 5 WC’s, usually 2 but sometimes 3. We like the vibe and choose based on ports. As for weight, well maybe I’m lucky but I have yet to come home heavier. Eating sensibly, exercise and avoiding the lifts seems to work. Agree with @mystythat trying a GV may be worthwhile.

IMHO unless you have one of the very small number of conditions that mitigate against COVID vaccination then you shouldn’t be allowed to travel internationally and certainly not on a cruise ship.

Agreed, this is a backward step when Omicron and it’s variants are as transmissible as ever. If SS remove the vaccination requirements then it’s goodbye to SS.

I suggest you arrange a meeting with the head sommelier once onboard, you may find some flexibility on a larger purchase.

Usually breakfast is included, but that’s it. The room is likely to be slightly better than entry. If you look at a taxi transfer from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the dock that should give you an idea of whether the extra cost from SS is worthwhile. When we started out we used SS transfers and hotels but usually do our own thing now. If you book the hotel, which was the Intercontinental last year, you could always get SS to quote for the transfers separately.

That’s because in all my years of travel in the US I have never come across an Olive Garden. I assumed it was a bit like Denny’s. All becomes clear now that you have admitted to living south of the river 🤣
