This is the balcony of 9029 on Seaside. As above, it is half covered by the balcony on deck 10. The Aurea cabins (Aurea junior suite) aft on deck 9 are 1/3 larger so more will be exposed.

There is a forum here called Ports Of Call. There you will find a board dedicated to Alaska. Lots of good info there. EM

Willdra's Paramount Carnival Panorama October 15-21 Cruise

I’m happy with my Lume soap, just wish they made smaller bars. And unfortunately I have to have unscented, as I turn scents sour. EM -
Agree, I was surprised to see that. Even other ships that don’t offer excursions (Viking, Carnival) linger for an hour or two…. EM

It’s Lincoln’s birthday and Aurora did a quick in and out. No need to dilly dally, she spent yesterday in Colon. Doing an interesting 65 day cruise from Southampton. Escaping winter, I guess.

Moving from middle to third lock at Gatun. To conserve water, they attempt to have ships side by side in the locks, with the ship that is lowering pushing the water sideways to raise the neighboring ship. -

A table for 2…was your son grazing in the buffet? EM -
And the storm might not affect your ports of call…but close your debark port/airport. In 2019 we were on a western Caribbean cruise over Labor Day and a hurricane in the Bahamas closed port of Miami and airports. We missed our last port of Key West but got second visits to Costa Maya and Cozumel. EM

And be aware when contemplating debarking in Benoa, and how much luggage you have, that Benoa is a tender port. EM

With Pride of America there will not be any customs or immigration. EM

I’ve been trolling through cabin pics on cruisedeckplans and have yet to find a YC cabin with a tub. EM

Probably any of them around the airport. But why not just park at the port?, yes it’s not cheap but so convenient. EM
-
Well, that depends…lately they have been using International Pier (Royal and Celebrity) but I have also docked downtown at Punta Langosta. EM This is the schedule for the week ending tomorrow. Seashore was downtown yesterday…

Norwegian Italy/Greece Cruise in April
Essiesmom replied to kjoseph0810's topic in Ask a Cruise Question
You don’t need to take a lot of euros, you can get whatever you need from bank atms in port. Use a debit card, preferably one from an account with no foreign transaction fees. Most of what you spend can be paid for with credit cards, again without foreign transaction fees. Visa and MC, sometimes AMEX, they don’t know what Discover is. EM -
Welcome to Cruise Critic. Euribia cruisers hang out here on the board for MSC, located on the main boards page under Cruise Lines A-O. EM

Does MSC for Me show routes? (also Nærøyfjord near Flåm)
Essiesmom replied to allisonfamily's topic in MSC Cruises
The app will not show any maps. You can get a route map of your cruise from cruisetimetables.com or cruisemapper.com. I think there is one on the MSC website of your itinerary. You can track your progress on Marinetraffic.com. The ship will sail down the fjord and dock or tender at Flaam. But I don’t believe it is that fjord. The sognefjord forks and they take the left fork. EM -
Saint Greg's Carnival Jubilee - Live - February 3, 2024

I jumped on it when Spirit was there for a few cruises in early ‘22. I booked a 1A gty on Esctasy, knowing the sailing would be on Spirit and she doesn’t have 1A cabins. Got one of the former French door insides. EM -

Not official from Princess but schedules by ship are available both on cruisetimetables.com and cruisemapper.com. EM

MSC Veterans! Newbie with Questions!
Essiesmom replied to Momto3girlsintheCarolinas's topic in MSC Cruises
If you booked Bella or Fantastica experience you won’t know your dining assignment until you get your cruise card. When you board, the Welcome aboard paper will list where to go to question your dining assignment. They will be able to tell you what size table you have and change it if possible. Unfortunately on some ships the two tops are so close to others that you might as well be at a six top…pics from Seaside. -

If you are sailing from a US port, the. MDR will only be open for lunch on sea days, not port days. This is different from cruises in Europe. EM
