  1. For the luxury and value I would choose Cunard, but it is more traditional with a stricter dress code than the others. Second I would go with Seabourn, although I have never sailed them. Between Oceania and Azamara I would choose by itinerary. I’m assuming those prices are for both of you, not per person? EM
  2. Foldable or narrow enough to fit through a 22” doorway as it can’t be left in the hallway. EM
  3. Go to the hotel. You might not be able to check in my they will hold your luggage while you go exploring. They will discuss transportation options. You might check the Florida Departures board here (under North American Homeports) for suggestions. Incidentally, have you arranged transportation to the hotel? MCO is approximately an hour from Cocoa Beach…that will occupy some of your time. EM
  4. In the upper right hand corner of your post you will see three little dots…called an ellipse. Click on that and you will get a drop down of report or edit. If too much time has passed you won’t be able to edit…. If you can’t edit, click on report and type a message to the mods about the problem and what you want done. If you can’t see the ellipse, turn your device sideways, or use one with a larger screen. EM
  5. You will receive additional points. EM
  6. I also liked walking around at OC, but I wish there were benches along the walkways where we old folks or perhaps those with tired children could sit for awhile. EM
  7. Is this on your upcoming Jubilee cruise? She has barely sailed…I would be asking on the Carnival board. Maybe it’s something like the lift at Mahogany Bay. EM
  8. You will not get docs and luggage tags until approximately 20 days before your cruise. Sometimes they slip up and you get access earlier. EM
  9. I have several of those purchased as cruise ship souvenirs. Still using them from Millennium in 2000. EM
  10. They will definitely do it for a fee plus supplies. I had minor derm surgery before a cruise. They gave me supplies and as I was with a group of nurses, I could have had one of them take them out, or wait until I got home. But as it was a very small ship of Louis Lines (now Celestyal Cruises) and I went to the med center as a sociological investigative experiment. It was interesting. EM
  11. My question is about visiting Key West. Are you flying or driving? If driving, it’s over 3 hours, long drive for not a lot of time in Key West…. EM
  12. They want to see the paper with the bar code, that’s page two of the docs. They never asked for the health questionnaire. I was surprised that for my December cruise I could access the checkin docs via the app, but I didn’t try that, it was just faster to flash the paper. I understand you can’t pre book times for specialty . Just onboard. You can pretty much ignore the assigned checkin time. EM
  13. Must be Equinox or Ascent. EM
  14. There are a lot of cabins on Divina that would suit your husband’s needs. We had a Bella balcony (8114) that looked out over a lifeboat, but below the lifeboat was a walking deck. The balconies at least one deck up would still look down on lifeboats. In fact, all balconies in those sections that have lifeboats below will not be looking at the ocean, but I would think he would be more worried the higher you get. Granted, it has been quite a few years since I sailed Divina, maybe 8, but at that time all the quad balconies had fold out sofas for the 3/4 guests. No bunks. Perhaps someone can report if they have switched out those couches for bunk sofas. EM
  15. If you are in an Aurea cabin, you will dine in the Aurea restaurant. EM
  16. I would inquire of the agent why this cabin was chosen. Maybe the agent isn’t recognizing that the cabin is HC. Or maybe MSC suggested it. Who knows. But it’s possible you could be moved, as MSC is unfortunately known for moving or upgrading people for unknown reasons. EM
  17. I believe @Hlitnerhas some experience renting vehicles in Europe and might be able to give some advice. EM
  18. Read some of the Live From threads. Most are by people in the YC. Most include menus. EM
  19. You can research tag holders on Amazon. Most come in two sizes. I would buy the larger size so any tag will fit. Mine have the zip lock type closure and metal straps. I have reused them many times.
  20. My offer was to move to a balcony from a 4K cabin on Spirit on a four day cruise. The offer was $100, but since I was sailing solo, paying less than $150 and seldom use a balcony, I declined. EM
  21. The two 3 day cruises I have done, and the 4 day did not have a formal night. EM
  22. It is absolutely appropriate. There have been several live blogs in the past year on the Carnival board, Celebrity board and probably others I don’t read. And although you will be doing it from the experience of a disabled person, you should do it on your cruise line board where more people will see it. EM
  23. I think I heard it before that, about travel not cruise related. EM
