Agreed. I did appreciate that they kept the Allure pricing when they switched us to Wonder. -
Deployment 2025-26 booking season begins
Teeara replied to SummmerInKefalonia's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I was able to access the dummy cruise they briefly had open on the website for a 7 night European cruise. We’re still planning on booking the WB TA on Allure. We were supposed to be on her last year before moving us to Wonder. We booked that 2022 TA the day it opened for booking and got a great rate, too. -
I will say that when we were on the Wonder TA last year on the day I did my ship tour video I was there around 6:30 a.m. and all the "special" seating in the Solarium had towels or people on them. Sheesh!

Deployment 2025-26 booking season begins

That was my thought exactly! We really want to do the Allure WB TA in 2025. Hopefully the prices are less than that for early bookers. -

Ouch! Went to do a dummy booking on Allure and the prices weren't pretty. -
Having beds separated in advance
Teeara replied to cruiseorcamp's topic in Royal Caribbean International
On our last 3 cruises they have never had the bed separated when we board the ship even though I put in the request as soon as I book the cruise. We simply tell the steward that we want the bed split into separate beds and it has always been done before dinner. -
Here you go! We did Wonder last year for the Fall TA. Here's the full playlist for it (you can see the separate Wonder videos after the Spain videos):

Here are the Cruise Compasses from Brilliance's Alaska cruise in April 2023. It should give you a good idea as to what kind of events they will offer onboard the ship. They probably won't be exactly the same, but it should help. Brilliance Cruise Compasses 7 night Alaska cruise

How early can luggage be dropped off at Port Canaveral?
Teeara replied to Sun Lover's topic in Royal Caribbean International
We sure did, although not as much as we wanted to. Our next cruise is Radiance PC in early April next year. Hoping to finally book the Allure WB TA for 2025 in a month or two. Lots of places we weren't able to visit in Spain with Pam's bum knee. At least you know what to expect with your cabin and the parking situation! When we did Indy right after she returned to PC in late 2021 we got to the port at 9:30 a.m. and had to park at the top of the garage at Terminal 1. I show that at the beginning of this video: Embarkation Day on Indy (11/1/21) -
It would help if you let us know which ship you're booked on.

I 100% agree with this. Noisy balcony neighbors and smoking on the balcony neighbors drive me bonkers. I try to open my door as quietly as possible and speak softly when we're out on the balcony. I try to be considerate of my neighbors.

Looking forward to your review. Thanks for your channel info. You'll have plenty to see and do on Wonder. We did the Wonder TA last year and I've got a bunch of videos of Wonder on my channel if you want to check it out. My channel is The Empty Armchair. WOTS 2023 WB TA So welcome to Royal! You'll find plenty to see and do onboard Wonder. Make sure you have dinner at 150 Central! The food there was the best onboard the ship. If you aren't a big breakfast fan, then get your reservation for dinner at The Mason Jar. We had the breakfast there and were less than impressed. Dinner would've been better. Happy sailing!

What are your experiences with "TheKey"?
Teeara replied to Valen9's topic in Royal Caribbean International
We purchased The Key for $20.99 per person for our upcoming Radiance Panama Canal cruise next year. When are we allowed to disembark the cruise? When they call the first group? We aren't carrying our luggage off the ship. -
Arriving at Boston port early for check in
Teeara replied to betmust's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Depends on when they open the doors. If that seems to be the earliest check in time, then if the doors aren't open yet you will simply wait outside until they open the doors. Then you'll be good to go. I don't think they're as strict here in Boston as they are in some of the other ports. -
The return TA is what I'm hoping for (Fall TA, not Spring TA). We were booked on it for 2020 which was obviously canceled. Then we were booked on it for last year but they switched us to Wonder (no complaints there). But I have to agree with the statements about the Champagne Bar vs. the Bionic Bar. On all my RCI sailings there have been people drinking and enjoying the Champagne Bar. Never saw anyone drinking or enjoying the Bionic Bar on Wonder. You would think they would figure that out by now. Or at least give us another store to shop in. My roommate did say that Wonder had the worst shopping of any RCI ships (and she loves to shop even onboard ship). Too few and too small. I am following the 2025-26 thread. But thanks for posting it.

Any news on a Fall TA in 2025? I would love to book that.
-
It depends on the time of year you're planning on going. If you're doing an Eastbound, then those are typically in the spring. You'll generally go from warmer to cooler temps. If you're doing a Westbound, then those are typically in the fall, so you'll generally go from cooler to warmer temps. Here's a video of our Westbound TA on Wonder last year with our daily weather conditions (we left Barcelona on October 30th and arrived in Port Canaveral on November 13th).

Are Sea days on Trans-Atlantic cruises monotonous?
Teeara replied to Eddie Wilson's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Here are our Cruise Compasses from the Wonder of the Seas WB transatlantic cruise last year. It will give you an idea as to what to expect on a transatlantic cruise. https://issuu.com/hochmania/docs/wots I've also got a bunch of videos from that cruise on my YT channel. I will say that sailing on an Oasis class ship was perfect for a TA. So often you don't have time to explore all the areas onboard that class since it's so large. A transatlantic is the perfect time to do so. With all the different neighborhoods you could focus on one a day! So I heartily recommend a transatlantic cruise. We're hoping to book the WB TA on Allure after her amplification in spring 2025. Fingers crossed it opens for booking later this year. -
Panama Canal Cruise "Adjusted"
Teeara replied to cruisetorelax44's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Looks like only the full transits are still on the RCI website. Our April 8th sailing only has interiors and ocean views left.
