  1. As long as you have no issue with medication that restricts your being in sunlight, then port side for the sun is fine. It does, however, get hot out there as you approach the Bahamas.
  2. Suez repo is on my bucket list (maybe in a decade or so 😉😄).
  3. Is there a particular time of year when fog is more of a concern than other times? Just curious since we're leaving on April 8 next year for a Panama Canal cruise.
  4. Grrrr....still waiting for Fall WB TA for Allure to drop. No, Harmony wasn't listed before. However, having Harmony drop allowed me to do some dummy bookings to get an idea on pricing. We could get a 2B Grand Suite or 1B ATS for about the same as what we paid for the Owner's Suite on Wonder's WB TA last year. Might have to work on the roommate to consider the ATS, although I don't think she wants to spend that much. We'll see....
  5. I would be more concerned with delays with customs in Miami. When we did the Wonder TA last fall there was a lengthy delay going through customs due to only a few agents working (this was at Port Canaveral, but I've heard that it can happen at any of the arrival ports). For ease of mind and less stress, either book a later in the day flight or stay overnight in Miami then take an early flight home the next day.
  6. It's crazy. We paid less than $5k each on the Wonder TA in our Owner's Suite. So glad we were able to enjoy that. We'll just stick with each of us having our own balcony cabin for the Allure WB TA in 2025.
  7. Thanks for sharing. Haven't heard anything about this.
  8. That sounds like us in the US and the Caribbean and Mexico itineraries. That's why we're changing things in 2026 to drive across Canada. New scenery! New food! ;o)
  9. Ouch. But you have to do it. Very disappointed that the Allure WB TA didn't drop this morning. I was really looking forward to booking it. The wait continues...........
  10. No WB Fall 2025 TAs on offer which makes me sad, but doing a dummy booking for the EB Spring 2025 TA on Allure was just nuts. Not happy with the prices at all. Itinerary was less than impressive, too, although they might be prepping the ship for dry dock for the crossing?
  11. I agree with you on the half-full. It was the same on the Wonder WB TA last year, too. Just lovely.
  12. Thanks for the clarification. I was extremely confused (not that that isn't hard to do right now as I sit on pins and needles waiting for the darn thing to open for booking).
  13. So true! Loved those 25 hour sea days during the Wonder WB TA last year. Going to book Allure WB TA this week (if RCI would ever open it for booking 😉😊).
  14. Hopefully they won't be too shocking. I'm so ready to book one.
  15. We aren't sun people since we burn, so that's why we love 7388 and 7688. I've never cruised on Celebrity, but if I do this is definitely a cabin I would look for. We can hide in the shady corner if necessary ;o) Love a larger cabin for sure, especially on those longer sailings. Thanks for sharing!
  16. Reminds me of 7388 and 7688 on Voyager class, except more exposed to the sun.
  17. I know, right? Oh well. Only another 6 years and we're retiring and I can have as much time to cruise as I want. Now to win the lottery to finance it 🤣🤣🤣
  18. Sad. Glad I work in law. Most of us start at 3 weeks after our 1st year and get 4 weeks after 5 years depending on the size of the firm. My current firm I get 4 weeks, 13 holidays plus 2 personal days.
  19. Why book 2025 when we're already on it next year with you? ;o)
  20. I see Allure's EB TA (12 nights departing February 25, 2025) Allure - Short Caribbean and Eastbound TA (2025) Pre-Open Wish they were showing the WB in the fall. Have to wait. Heavy sigh....
  21. Yikes is right! Just nuts. For the Allure TA we're looking at getting 2 regular balcony cabins, one for each of us or I will get a junior suite and my roommate will get a regular balcony. I know there are some juniors with connecting doors to a regular balcony cabin. That way she can save money for her cabin whereas we also get a bigger balcony with my junior. It will, of course, depend on the pricing. Our upcoming Panama Canal cruise will be our last one sharing the same cabin. She needs her sleep and I snore. ;o))) On Wonder we alternated sleeping on the couch in the living area. Thank God for that Owner's Suite! It was a dream.
  22. I was able to access the Allure sailing again. Price is down a bit, but only junior suites showing and again, ouch! Nearly $5K USD for a junior suite on a 7 day sailing. Sure hope these amounts drop dramatically.
