I don’t typically travel solo but never get any love from princess in terms of promos or upgrades. I mentioned at the beginning of this review that I almost booked the 4 day in crown leaving the day after we disembark this one. After all the little lately I opted not to!

It’s been stuck on this for 15 minutes. They really need to figure this out - if I had paid to activate it I would be MAD!

No luck finding the elusive cocktails! The bar next y to o the casino is now Club Six and is a sports bar with big screens and a few machines. I asked the bartender and he had no idea what I was talking about. I walked through the casino and also came up empty handed. Now in Vista trying to get a drink through the app…

Hmm. Maybe I’ll try to track them down. Take Five is now the sports bar on Royal. I usually don’t go in there but I’m going to check it out now…

Yes, they have coffee on deck 5 and 7, but we were in the buffet and I needed a coffee fix. Didn’t want to swill they generally serve there and I didn’t see lavazza coffee in offer…

There was no lemon in it either. The “bar” was a gelatinous, tasteless substance. It was yellow.

It took half an hour, but here it is! I went with The Donatello. Was it worth the wait? Not really. I went with this one as it said it had key lime (I LOVE key lime). Well, not a hint of lime in it… I find it odd that you can get a $12 mammoth dessert with the package but not a $1.50 scoop of gelato..,

Big line for gelato but I can’t leave without trying an obscene dessert.

I went to the shops to use up my OBC. Bought a couple of mini Stanley’s that we don’t have and will grab some duty free later. The store has no bags so you have to just carry your purchases around with you. I could have just walked out of the store without paying if I weren’t an honest person 🤣 My friend is feeling very seasick with all the rocking and rolling the ship is doing. She just went to lie down. I did the honourable thing and finished her sushi! I’m not sure she will want to cruise again…😭

Casino was open. Usually if it’s not there is still a notice on the door screen saying it’s not available. There was no mention of it yesterday!

I used the door hanger to order breakfast for 8:30-9. It just showed up at 7:55! Luckily I was up and just out of the shower. Five minutes earlier and the poor guy might have got an eyeful…

Good Morning! I had a great night sleep in the Princess bed. Room location is very quiet. I’m all the way aft so feeling a little movement but it just rocked me right to sleep! We had lots of photos taken last night (making use of the premiere package) but they haven’t yet shown up in the app so will stop by the photo gallery later. Another thing that doesn’t appear to be functional is princess prizes - usually it says it’s closed/not available on the door screen but there’s no mention of it at all. Has it been discontinued? Plans today are to shop and spend my OBC, get an obscene dessert, try ocean terrace, go to the comedy show, go to the 80s party, sabatinis…are there enough hours in the day?

Such a great day on the ship! We have met so many new people and the staff seem overly attentive (in a good way). Great dinner at crown grill, great times at Good Spirits, missed the comedian, didn’t love the magician…
