Thanks, good to know. I was price matching my June oasis cruise last night and my cruise wasn’t on there any longer. My fear was they were moving ships around and I was going to be stuck with a small ship! 😆

No, I’m sure there are various reasons for one to use a TA. For me the number one reason would be perks…there are a few more reasons I may use a TA, but they fall after my number one reason. 😊

I haven’t taken the antivirals myself but my doctor friend says it needs to be started at the onset of symptoms in order for it to lessen the symptoms.

I have been reading on the website in-depth about this protocol change as I’m waiting to book a cruise and bring my unvaccinated granddaughters. Yes, there is a form to be filled out for the unvaxxed…unlike Carnival’s “updated” policy, you do not have to have a note from a physician giving a medical reason AND Carnival also requires all unvaxxed guests to purchase insurance, RCI does not. The problem is, since they are limiting the percentages of unvaxxed AND it’s first come first serve AND you don’t know if you’re excepted until very close to the cruise date, I am Leary about booking at this time. Get those requests in asap!

Odyssey out of Rome. I’m super excited as this will be my first time in Europe AND my first TA in over 30 cruises! I’m a food tour fanatic. I like seeing and hearing about the various sites as we walk along for about 3 hours and stop at various food establishments for food and drink tastings. Best of both worlds—food and drink and being able to see the sites with someone who is familiar with the area.

My first TA is October 2023.
