  1. It is unlike anything else Princess has to offer. You will be delighted, I loved it. Enjoy!
  2. Oooooh, yes, thank you for this tip. I used EZAir and will check that that is sufficient.
  3. Thank you so much, great info. I am feeling so much better about this now. I expect the walking/waiting in line/queue.
  4. Thank you. I now know to look at the tiny signs. Signage in airports to me is SO IMPORTANT. Some airports are not that great. I appreciate the warning. I am in Polaris. I looked up Premier line and that applies to me it seems. Probably slower because agents are taking a little more care/time with each PAX. I imagine it varies with the number of arriving PAX all at the same time.
  5. OOPS, too late to edit "Does the Princess transfer bus stop at the arrivals area" should be departures area.
  6. WOW! That is exactly what I was hoping to hear. I am departing on a United International flight from T2. My previous experience was being dropped somewhere underground in a parking structure then having to shlepp in passages & elevators/lifts to my terminal for check-In. No carts, no help, just OYO. It was horrible for me. I do not remember what terminals were, but I think maybe 2 and 3 were involved.
  7. I have tried unsuccesfuly to find the answer to my querry. The Off-Shore non Princess people are worthless. They just post from their script and are unable to answer specific questions. I have tried the search here on CC including the Europe/British Isles forum and it is way to wide. I was able to find find Princess' contracted transfer company (I think) I emailed them, no reply. I had a horrible and unexpected bad experience the last time I had a Princess transfer to Heathrow. I am alone, a little debilitated, lacking strength, so I have difficulty shlepping luggage. I hope it has changed, or I will have to do a more expensive private transfer. My specific querry is... Does the Princess transfer bus stop at the arrivals area of each terminal or at a single drop point for the whole airport, which was my previous bad experience that I am trying to avoid again. If it is a single drop point, what is the latest/current drop point? I am hoping someone has some recent experience they can share. TIA
  8. It is more than likely that you will not be refunded to your credit card, but given more OBC. I don't recall for sure if is refundable or non-refundable. My guess is refundable OBC. My takeon this kind of situation is reserving these in advance is just buying your own OBC. It's a tough spot, because specialty dining slots and excursions do sell out due to folks buying in advance.
  9. Hi J Wow for United! On a whim I booked a Drop & Go cruise recently at about 39 days out. I went to EZAir and found a really decent fare on United (for Business/Polaris) LAX-London Heathrow non-stop. About half the price of other offerings, especially being a non-stop. United's price was somewhere around $20.00 less, but booked EZAir due to close timing and I will use Princess transfer this time. I am excited! Happy Cruising!
  10. I recently experienced the set lunch menu on the Majestic. I was very underwhelmed with the available choice and the food. Princess, Please go back to the old rotating menus and selections, PLEASE! My opinion/YMMV
  11. LOL, yeah! The inside line that snaked for more than an hour OUTSIDE in the cold and wet.
  12. Re: Majestic DRO. I believe it may be Daniele Rosafio I was just onboard.
  13. I thought about that, but did not want the hassle of turning over to TA. I had my TA get on it already this morning. It is booked, I got the cabin I wanted. YAY! It has a reduced price and cabins are going quickly now. Phewwwwwww.
  14. Thanks all for your replies. It seems the glitch has been corrected. Will now be able to book, but cabin I was looking at is now gone. Princess Plus Save on things you’ll probably do anyway was$153 $60 per person/day Save 61%
  15. No, It is from Southampton. Not GBP either 72.00 British Pounds = 91.307763 US Dollars Not Australian either 72.00 Australian Dollars = 47.540385 US Dollars
  16. @Spudd No, not Canadian. I am logged with my account that shows where I live I believe. 72.00 Canadian Dollars = 52.396801 US Dollars
  17. Princess Plus Save on things you’ll probably do anyway was$165 $72 per person/day Save 56% ADD PLUS Is Princess getting ready to increase the price? I may want to book, but I don't want the higher price Plus. I know I could add it on board
  18. @Thrak. Thank you. I get why you liked it. I looked at it for a cruise I have booked on Coral and it is not available. I am booked down the way on Baja currently.
  19. Michael, Do you mind sharing what that cabin number on the Coral is?
  20. I recently experienced boarding at Seattle Pier 91. It was not fun to stand and inch forward with checked suitcase and carry on for an hour or so. It was mayhem, could not even tell where the end of the line was. I have never been at a port where there are no porters waiting curbside to take your luggage. The situation was a looooooooong snaking line to get into the luggage check area which is inside a building. Then proceed to the security metal detectors and check in lines snaking with the same people. Not a good experience, oh it was cold and rainy too.
  21. There is also dial7. I have used both Carmel and Dial7 and both were fine. I much prefer this way to the Princess transfer.
  22. What cruise are you going on? Enjoy!
  23. @GFLeeper Thanks for your reply.
  24. @GFLeeper I have enjoyed the Chef's Table multiple times. But NEVER have I heard of reserving and paying in advance. Are you sailing in a suite? Does your TA have special connections to the ships? How are you doing this? The typical experience AFIK is to make contact with Dine Line or Guest Services and request to be put on the list, then wait to see if you are selected and then receive your invitation in your cabin.
