We had a P2 on QM2 which had an interconnecting door and had no problems at all. No noise and no smoke (it was before the smoking ban in cabins was introduced).

Thank you, that is what I was hoping.

We are thinking of a Med cruise in an inside cabin next year. Can anyone tell me how good the air con is in these rooms as I have trouble sleeping in an over-warm room.

When you book on line you pay when you book. I believe the tour guides have a list of people booked on the trip. Sorry I can't be any more help.

Did you pay Cunard price or saver price? Saver prices have no input regarding dining time and table size.

We normally eat around 7 at home. We found the early sitting too early, especially when you consider the time you have to start to get ready. 8.30 worked better for us. There is a cut off time and I believe it is 30 minutes after the doors open. If you are going to be late it would be nice to tell your table companions.

We went on Queen Victoria last year at the beginning of the school holidays. It got a bit frustrating when we wanted to swim as a group of 10 - 12 year olds tended to take over the lido pool in the afternoons. Other than that it didn't feel crowded and it wasn't noticibly noisier than when we were on board the previous year outside the shool holidays

Sorry Merry Maid, but when I tried to see your picture it came up as private, so I couldn't see it.

We always pack way too much, but we didn't need to use the drawers under the bed for a 2 week med cruise.

We were able to watch live F1 in our cabin this summer. It was not on BBC but I can't remember which channel it was on.

This applied to our cruise in August, but there were plenty of people smoking on their balconies. I could see them and smell them. I think the no smoking on balconies rule is really unenforcable.

Did you pay full fare or saver fare? Saver fares do not get to choose dinner sittings.

We have turned up when we wanted, left when we wanted, and been sociable with everyone when all together. We have also had table companions who turned up for the first night and were never seen again.
