Just off Seaside. They take lots of photos each evening in several different stations, on several decks. They scan your card for each session and within a few hours they appear on a online account and you can use the ships WiFi to download them. I have read lots of issues of lost photos when you wait to do it after getting off ship so I took the time each day to DL the previous days.

Pins on CC is a European thing. If your card is US Based you will not need it.

Seems to me that MSC is really listening and in my opinion lots of the positive reviews started after the Captains were changed out. Probably a coincidence but does make me wonder.

For the frozen and umbrella/fruit cocktails you need to go deluxe...
Interesting these packages have to go Deluxe because you can get those with the Classic Aurea package as well
-
My understanding is you don't know your excursion time until the night before.

For those who have gotten off Seaside in the past few weeks and purchased the new internet packages has the confusion over devices been straightened out?
When the new packages came out they were setting the accounts up so that only 2 or 4 devices (depending on what you bought) would connect period for the entire cruise when it was suppose to be 2 or 4 devices connected at one time.
Our TA spoke with a high-up person at MSC sales and has confirm the 2/4 meant connections at one time not devices for length of cruise. We have purchased the 2 device connection option but I will be turning off phone at some point to connect laptop. I really don't feel like having to argue with CS or make our TA (who is traveling with us) take time away from her cruise to argue with them.

4/28 sailing is the dolphins cheerleaders[emoji33]. Thank god we are in yacht club

They are only on the ship on the 28th for a one day photo shoot and Q/A. They are not sailing the entire week.

You can't buy it until you are on the ship. Not sure of the prices as they may be adjusting again. Reports are coming into some FB pages they have dropped the zip line price to $5 per ride or $20 for the week.

Formal on formal and dressy casual other nites. Jeans and t -shirts are never appropriate in the MDR on any ship.
Actually dressy dark or white jeans (with nice shoes for men and heels or dressy sandals) are fine for the MDR. Never worn out, ripped jeans and Tshirts IMO

Kelly ... Go to the MSC Seaside photos only thread and my review of the Xmas sailing.
There is a video on YouTube also.
Thanks. I can’t seem to find the posts. I will look again.
I just realized the other day you are in the April 28 cruise with my DH, myself and about 200 members of our group cruise.

I don't recall them being touted but that may be because we wouldn't have been interested. Probably the 2 bedroom suites although buyer beware on those. Some were originally on their website as 2 bedroom and ended up only 1 bedroom. At least some of them have been corrected on the website by way of only allowing 4 persons in the 1 bedroom and 5 in the two bedroom or so I read somewhere. If you find the Seaside Cabin Pictures Only thread on here there are some photos and information. I saw on facebook one of the Seaside groups tried to start a thread regarding which were 1 and which 2 bedroom and I think that's where I saw someone say the ones that say up to 5 persons were the two bedroom. Which is a trifle odd I thought. With the fold out couch wouldn't they be 6 persons?
I was asking about the Aft cabins not the 1/2 bed cabins. Th

MSC touted these cabins and everyone was talking about them Surprisingly I am not reading anything about them here or on other sites, nor am I seeing any videos on YouTube.
Anyone who has been on them, pro's & con's. Pictures or videos from the balconies? Bathroom photos? Are the window ladders causing issues?

Besides the MSC shop, what vendors/brands are found in the numerous stores on the ship?
Thanks.

I think those traveling to the US which have experienced MSC before expect it to be a the same experience (Opera, dining, fashion, etc.) while those from the US expect more of a Disney, Royal vibe. Seaside seems to be trying to find her happy medium between the two (which is exactly what they said they would be) and its settling pains

Not confirmed but it seems that Bella cabin guests and some Fantastica guests are seated in the Marketplace in the evenings.
Someone on Seaside now has confirmed this is happening.
-
It has also been suggested that the forum be split into US sailings/and the rest. I would prefer to see this being done because MSC operates different policies onboard, depending on whether the onboard currency is Euros or US dollars. It can lead to a lot of confusion when someone states something categorically and others infer that the statement applies to all ships. .
Couldn't agree more.

To answer the poster, not there is not self serve laundry. There are laundry services available that you pay a fee for.

Does any know if the Aurea Suites on Seaside have Concierge or Butler Service or should I be wishing for a miracle? We are thinking of changing rooms from an Aurea Balcony to a Suite. It looks like the Stateroom size is the same, just a larger balcony. TIA
Only Yacht Club have those services

Ernie ... Do you still have that story about the Aft elevators you sent me from that online magazine, I know it was way back in March and in that edition.
If you watch this video, you can often see the Aft elevators clearly stopping at the different floors so it does appear the Aft suites have card access as you showed in the article.

But centers are completely different. We r booked in corner suite and I am going mad with curiosity. LoL 😂
It's very possible these suites were not available to the general public to book for this 21 day cruise, probably held back for MSC delegates making the trip and so it will not be until the first 7 day cruise that these are available to be photographed.
-
Another thread I read thinks some of the pricing we are seeing is based on this 21 day cruise and may not be typical once the 7 day cruises start.
If you booked a package with drink coupons you will still get them. It's new booking who wont.
-
Besides the fact its a maiden voyage/shake down cruise and one should expect to see issues I wonder if many of those with issues are European, accustom to MSC European cruises which desire, allure and services are completely different than what to expect on a Caribbean cruise.
MSC has been very vocal in stating this ship would be a completely different experience as they try to break into the US/Carribean market.

Reminder: When photographing cabins with reflective surfaces consider being dressed, lol.
Thanks for the updates Sidari
I had to back and look... Maybe a bathing suit?? Let's hope! Thanks hilarious!!!!

If you have time a suggestion, could you alter your first post to list what cabin numbers are featured in this thread with a page number so those looking for specific cabin can just look there? Just a thought.

Did the directions I sent you to get rid of the borders work? Worked like a charm for me.
