  1. Once on the ship absolutely no one cares who is who as far as cabins are concerned. Your cabin steward, even Stewart the steward could not care less. Go with post # 17.
  2. Best option, plus do as the cruise line does and add a 18% Grat to the fee.
  3. Biggest must have for 2024, under $2. Please do not bother your steward for a blank card. Always keep lights and A C turned on, never come back to a warm or dark cabin...... Disregard the remove from slot warning, it is only for tree huggers
  4. Yes, you will be set up for a six top, if some do not show up no big deal. Ship dependent but there may be three formal nights, two for sure. Best to see the MDR host as soon as you board to confirm your reservations.
  5. Showrooms as well as on all their private islands.
  6. You can both sit at a table and only one order food.
  7. Labadee, Ukraine, Red Sea, Taiwan, Yemen, Gaza, South China Sea, Iran, Too many to keep going. The end of the world as we know it... Best advice..Be sure to always get a drink package.
  8. It's in the Caribbean, I would count on it being a Sharknado event. Either way Fin Shepard would save everyone. His Motto... always be prepared. sharks Or reaching the guard gate at Labadee.....
  9. FYI. Royal is out of the loop when it comes to Royal UP. Royal Up is done by a third party company and it seems as there is no rhyme or reason as to how they pick winners. Low bids win as often as high bids.
  10. Rarely if ever do they make a pre reservation for you, your day and time pick was just a placeholder. Go to any specialty after you board and make all three reservations for the week. Now that ships are sailing at 110% capacity the specialty's fill quick. I think Specialty dining, including chef's table, are the only reservations you need. All shows are first come first served.
  11. You would be saying something like... Why did you give away my table... I saw a YouTube video showing MTD people lining up at 4:45 hoping to get a table at 5:10 from no shows to early traditional.
  12. 266 feet above water and 30 feet below water. from WIKI. Includes top of funnel height 72 m (236 ft 3 in) above water line[2] Draught 9.3 m (30 ft 6 in)[1]
  13. Just a FYI if you have young kids in the group. I Fly is open for those 3 years old and up.
  14. Odd, we have done it many times on a variety of ships and always get a OBC. Usually when we make the package reservations the host making the reservations just swaps a package night for the same full price night and takes care of the refund becoming a OBC, they have never questioned the swap.
  15. 150 is a little upscale but you will still see some in shorts and t shirts even on formal night. We took our granddaughter to Chop's and 150 CP when she was 10. She loved it, and she is a big eater as she is into every kind of sport. We paid adult prices for her at 150 even though now I don't think it was necessary, the meal at chops we paid for the kids meal and she was allowed to order off the full menu, I remember she ordered the Berkshire Pork belly app and the large Filet.
  16. Jimani, Dominican Republic is 30 miles from Port Au Prince. Last report is they are not seeing any sign of trouble and have taken very little extra precautions. I would have little to no worry about visiting Labadee.
  17. If they say traditional is full ask to be put on the wait list.
  18. Wonderland on Quantum Class is a neglected stepchild. Very small, seating way to close together, no windows, single story. no bar or lounge area that you find on Oasis Class. We have done several Wonderland dinners on Oasis Class, on Quantum and Ovation we walked in laughed and walked out. To the OP, there is a dog house across from the bumper cars and the Buffett in the Solarium is very nice. Vintages was our go to bar on Quantum and Ovation.
  19. They have been looking for a recent update like this. 1 voucher = 40% off under $100 1 voucher = 20% off $100+ 2 vouchers = 80% off under $100 2 vouchers = 40% off 100+ 3 vouchers = 100% off under $100 with 20% OBC 3 vouchers = 60% off 100+ 4 vouchers = 100% off under $100 with 60% OBC added to account 4 vouchers = 100% off 100+ D+ and Pinnacle all wine N/C with $14 OBC with each voucher used. ++++ goes without saying this is per person per day++++ Ship dependent as to being valid on debarkation morning *******please disregard if you lack the ability to see satire*****
  20. FYI for others who may not know. Vouchers are also good for bottled water, specialty coffees, smoothies from the spa, fresh squeezed OJ in the morning, canned soda and beer from the bar and adult milkshakes from JR. Voucher drinks are also sharable with non diamond members.
  21. Yes, and that would include a adult shake with licquor.
  22. Free breakfast is only on Oasis Class ships.
