I think that depends on the rate promotion booked, am I right?  If the cabin is booked under Past Guest or Casino Rate, which both gives discounts, and the people left in the cabin are neither,  I would expect they would have to pay the difference since they don't qualify for the promotional rates.  And then, wouldn't it revert to the other rate, which is not a promotional rate?

anyone special or department I should ask for... i really concerned they may accidentally cancel the booking

I linked my friends booking to mine for dining purposes only.  I am not handling her booking.  I received an upgrade offer when i logged in on both cabins.  I called my friend because we were all wanting to stay on the same deck.  She checked her page, and found the upgrade and upgraded her cabin.  She also asked them to upgrade mine also sinc we both had the offer.  In the meantime, my offer disappeared from my page.  After several calls to carnival, i was told the offer was from March.  I assured them the offer has appeared several times allowing me to click on and accept. Which i didnt.  I still have to wait for a new offer because it is computer generated. I have no problem with that.

Today, the red ribbon at the top of the page with the upgrade offer i back.  I click on view details. It says it is no longer available.  I am thinking that maybe because my friend accepted her offer, which is fine, that is holding me up from being able to accept mine.  The lady at CCL asked me how many bookings i had.  I told her that the second one showing on my page is only linked for dining, that i have nothing to do with that booking.

So, what it gets down to is this.  Does anyone know how to remove that link for her booking to mine, without them or myself accidentally canceling out her booking.  Theres four people in that cabin.  I don't want to mess it up.  I do want to remove her cabin from my bookings though.  Any thoughts??

Yes, as long as the payment to Carnival shows up on your Amex statement as "Carnival Cruise Line Rsvr", it will qualify for the credit.

I think you will because they did that to me once when I made a payment over the phone to Carnival. After that transaction I never got the email confirming that I’d be getting the statement credit but did get the credit once the charges were posted to my statement.

my offer says that you can book online. Is that correct?

My Premier getaway went thru Sept. and expired last week. Did anyone get any Getaway offers for October? Will there be any for October? Checking because I want to know if I will still be getting Premier offers after October, or if they will be offering any Getaway cruises for Oct.

My Premier and Premier Getaway cruise expired last week. I do still have the funchips offer which can be booked up until 6/28. I did not get my cruise booked on time. So I would like to know when the next offers come out. My last cruise was Sept of last year. They say you get offers for another year. Does that mean from the date of your last cruise or will I continue to offers up until Sept. for cruises after that?

Also, I didn't have any Getaway cruises showing or October?Did anyone else have offers or October getaways? Im running out of time to get a cruise booked because the sept oct time frame are selling out. I wasn't able to get it booked yet for personal reasons.

My "better offer" with the new players club, dropped my 100 fun chips offer down to 50. I still had some nice cash offers. But they dropped every other month. From 600 on premier to 300, and 400 on premier getaway to 200. I can't figure that out because it is only 9 months after my last cruise. And trust me, after hours and hours in the casino there is no way I didn't get the points needed.

Please post when you get your next offers for Premier and Premier Getaway and also if you have any Oct offers for getaway.

I had put the Vista on hold for 9/2 for Premier. Unfortuneatly i ended up in the emergence room and an overnight in the hospital and lost the hold. So i got an email saying i still had time to book and if i wanted to add another hold reply. So I clicked on the part to continue the hold so i book when i got home.

Well, it didn't work. So the price had went up sharply by the time i got home. And i didn't book.

I used my amex card for a disount on turbo tax filing. However, i didn't find out until i had filed, that you had to go to turbo through the link on amex to get that discount.

Does Carnival booking work the same way? Do i click the redeem offer button before i book and then follow a link to Carnival? When i read through the details it sounds like you just book through Carnival. Do I then click on the redeem offer? Any help on this is greatly appreciated... thanks

My last cruise was sept 17. Since then I have been receiving Premier offers. My latest round takes me through sept. this year. However, the friends and family that i go with are not able to go. some are actually going to Alaska. My question is will i continue to get offers up to sept for cruises after sept? Or will they discontinue after the sept cruise dates? There are some I would like to go on, but the rates for a single are high for me. Hoping to get October offers... anyone know? If i had someone to go with, i would probably book one.

hmmm... don't really like their response to you.. but guess nothing i can do really.. I will probably just wait a while, because the offers in May for the getaways are not really anything i am interested in... thanks for the reply. Which is exactly why I haven't contacted them. I still don't see why they would drop my comps within 4 months of the last cruise and 3 months of the last offer... it seems like they are dropping each month... I won't be playing in the casino if my comps keep dropping...

I'm not sure but I am interested to hear what others have to say.

Me too. I would call the casino, but they would probably give me what seems to be the standard answer or policy.. which is the offers can change anytime, they cannot adjust them as it is random.. ???

i cruised last Sept. When I got my new premier offers after i returned home, they came with 500 casino cash. And had several offers for 25pp cruise rate for a 7 day cruise and even a 10 day cruise. I usually book my cruises at the beginning of each year for spring or fall. I prefer fall. So after i received my new offers , again after my new offers after returning home from the Sept. cruise, my cash offer for premier dropped to 400 casino cash. Still had the 25pp offer that were not premiere. I still held off. My new offes for premier have now dropped to 300 casino cash. And i now have the getaway offers. last year the getaway offers that i got came with 400 casino cash, great offer that i took advantage of. My Sept cruise was a getaway offer from the casino. Now my casino cash on my getaway offer has dropped to 200! Dont mean to complain... still getting offers. But as i was probably cruising alone this year, the larger casino cash offers come in really handy.

Does anyone know why my comps are dropping? Will they continue to drop over the next few months to nothing?? I find it very odd. I wish i would have jumped on those 25pp cruise offers but i dont usually cruise in the jan to feb timeframe.

You would probably be ok with that. Except there can always be something that happens that makes your debark time end up late. In 29 cruises this only happened to me twice. Once was when they were calling names of about 10 people to come to guest services... for about an hour... it held up customs check. We had a private town car, already paid for, scheduled to pick us up at 8:30 am. Due to this problem, we did not get off the ship until 11:00! Lucky for us, the driver waited. We had a fairly early flight and he got us there on time. He did get a really nice tip!

The other time was when i was with a group of 6. We got in the selfdebark line. 4 of us got off the ship quickly. but once again, a problem arose. Debarkation stopped. We waited until 12 noon before debarkation started again, and the rest of our group got the ship. We had an early flight and lucky for us, we got texts saying our flight had been delayed until 2. So we just barely made that flight.

The majority of the time, we have had great luck with the shuttle. Depending where are you are cruising from also makes a difference. If you are flying in and out of Miami and cruising from Miami... just a take a cab. very easy.. priced very reasonable!
