  1. Sounds like you answered your own question if location isn't part of making the decision.
  2. Agree it's a bummer. There is a lot of great things to do and see outside of Crown Bay, Havensight and Charlotte Amalie. Maybe next time. Enjoy your cruise. 🍷
  3. Download the app and choose a current sailing for the Oasis with the same itinerary.
  4. Agree. On the Jewel the Safari Club, Congo Bar and Zanzibar Lounge are all right there. Bar service and plenty of room.
  5. I was calling us chair hogs because we would never share a chair/seat of that size with a stranger. 🐷
  6. No nappy time for us. Not even on a sea day. We feel that way each morning after a good nights sleep on the ship.
  7. Hate those short stops and late arrivals. That short time wouldn't be bad if you were docking at Havensight instead of Crown Bay, which is where you will be docking. Not much at CB but still a short shared shuttle ride into Charlotte Amalie. I swear it takes longer for them to fill the shared shuttle than the actual trip into Charlotte Amalie. If (not happening) at Heavensight you would have been right there and you would have had time to eat breakfast and then get off the ship to stretch your legs walking around the shops for a little while. No really exploring but...Or take a shared shuttle into Charlotte Amalie. Either way, not enough time to tour the island.
  8. You Diamond benefit is better. If you book a RC cruise while on a Celebrity cruise you will still get any promos if any for that cruise plus your Diamond discounts if booking a balcony or suite. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/sgp/en/crown-anchor-society/balcony-and-suites-chart
  9. I hope Celebrity doesn't either. The new implemented change is causing an uproar on the RC forum. Time will tell when cruises are completed and people start complaining on their PCS and not just on CC. We'll continue to cruise with RC. Nothing for 2023 so hopefully by 2024 RC changes back to twice a day or at least by request.
  10. Thought the same thing. Never had a sever bring two drinks without both of us showing our cards, unless we were in the Sky Lounge before the CC did away with that CC HH event. At that time the first couple of evenings (after that the CC host recognized us and others) we were always required to show our Seapass cards at the entrance in order to enter the SL for the CC HH.
  11. On RC if they live at the same address the non CAS member gets the same tier level as the CAS member. Not temporary and with full perks/benefits.
  12. Pre paid gratuities are worth to us. I like it and wouldn't mind if Celebrity added the gratuity into the cruise fare. We have never got the impression from a staff member they were hinting, expecting additional gratuities. We would never remove gratuities. No matter the experience. If our service or something was that bad (never has been) I would be privately speaking with that person first and if no improvement, then to the HD. And a follow up on my PCS.
  13. It would be nice when a cruise line changes an itinerary they would tell us why.
  14. Celebrity reserves the right to cancel or change the itinerary at their discretion.
  15. You can take your glasses of wine you poured in your stateroom into any of the venues. 🍷
  16. Hopefully Celebrity doesn't follow RCs lead. But if directed by the RCG they will. If they do I'll slam them on our PCS and a follow up to Lisa. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. We'll continue to cruise with RC and Celebrity and adjust accordingly just like reducing and eliminating some of the CC and CAS perks/benefits. Not a deal breaker for us. I like sharp cheese to go with my whine.
  17. No corkage fee for bringing your two 750 ml bottles of wine onboard. No corkage fee if you have a beverage package when bringing the bottle(s) into a dining venue or bar. Corkage fee may be charged if you don't have a beverage package in the dining venue or bar.
  18. Agree. IMO, if you aren't the CC tier level for those specific perks/benefits, no matter what they are you don't get to enjoy them. Especially with some of the CC perks/benefits being reduced and eliminated.
