  1. That means Bucky needs to keep an eye on you in the casino. 🤑
  2. @land64sharkwe just returned from our Apex cruise and had a DPV stateroom. Like all our cruise no matter the stateroom category we never ever feel like second class citizens. But we don't concern ourselves with such ridiculous foolishness either. 🙃
  3. My wife had to use one of those (horribly disgusting in her opinion) in Miami when SAS stood us up and we had to wait even longer for another SAS driver. 🤬
  4. I did advise that person I am a card carrying HOG member. Different club though. Matter of fact I should wear my HOG T-shirt on our next cruise.
  5. @Jimbo like with RC you will receive a detailed list in your stateroom advising you of all your Elite perks for that specific cruise.
  6. I was once called a chair hog here on CC because I posted once I plant my butt in the lounger I stay in it for as long as I want. No time limit. That person thought after 1 to 2 hours max I should leave and let someone else use the lounger. 🤣
  7. Celebrity won us over in1994. 😁 But so has RC. You will be Elite with Celebrity. You will still each get the wash n fold laundry bag. The CC doesn't have a dedicated lounge for it's members and the CC HH drinks are unlimited from 5 to 7 but since you have the AI package, that's not an issue.
  8. Right away. Make sure you have been assigned CAS numbers before your cruise. Call the CAS (1-800-526-9723) to verify or log into your CP.
  9. Yes, you'll get the CBP. That's the package we always get and have no issues with the selections. We stuck with Santa Helena Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon Blanc and Mondavi Sauvignon Blanc. Beer choices were plentiful. Brought home a bottle of Santa Helena Sauvignon Blanc we received as gift for booking a future cruise while onboard. Another huge plus for us is Celebrity doesn't allow any inside smoking. Fleetwide.
  10. If the Edge was doing it you would have received an invitation left in your stateroom for the place, day and time. Fun and entertaining event. We hope it goes fleetwide. Lasted about 45 to-50 minutes.
  11. Off topic but did the CC have the Music and Mixology in the Club on one of the evenings on the Edge? We just got off the Apex and the CC had that event. We really enjoyed it. Currently it's not fleetwide but the CC host told us it was being discussed for the entire fleet.
  12. You missed the boat so to speak. Celebrity use to hand out glasses of champagne when you first boarded the ship on embarkation day. 🥂
  13. We had prime rib on our recent March Apex cruise. So I guess I won't need to file a complaint. 😁
  14. Right on. I like the itinerary. We just got off Celebrity's Apex. A lot of WOW factor on that class (E) of ship. Did you book with the AI (Always Included) option? We book with the AI option. With Celebrity you are allowed to bring on two 750 ml bottles of wine per person. The CC HH for Elite and above is only in the evening from 5 to 7 at most bars. No CC HH on the first night of the cruise. CC HH drinks are from the CC HH beverage menu. Similar to what the CAS beverage menu was. The Elite perks/benefits are good. You and Bucky may like the Reflections Lounge deck 11 for your pre dinner drinks. Similar to the VCL.
  15. No. I was going to add living together when I first posted but the edit time frame ran out.
  16. No it's not. Now back to the topic of this thread, "Chair Hogs".
  17. Some nice perks/benefits being Diamond. You can get to D+ a lot faster than it took you to get to E+.
  18. Should we do what you suggest when Celebrity isn't enforcing their evening dress code in the MDR. 🙄
  19. Agree. We made Diamond with RC and Elite with Celebrity before they merged. Also we are Platinum with Princess.
  20. No way would I do that. You are opening yourself up to a possible unwanted confrontation especially if you are touching/removing someone's personal belongings. If you can't find a lounger and you're going to wait then have a staff member remove the items when you're ready to use the lounger. You don't know who you might be dealing with.
  21. When I sit out on the deck it's always the deck above the pool deck and I always find a lounger to enjoy a drink or two while looking out at the port or water. Apparently hogs are drawn to water (pool, hot tubs). Balcony for quite times.
  22. Nothing new. It's those that are hitchhiking off another's CC tier level for staying in the same stateroom that needs to be eliminated. IMO, unless married you are the tier level that your CC cruise points reflect. If divorced you are the tier level your cruise points reflect.
  23. Enjoy your B2B. Once you do a B2B it's hard to go back, 🍷
  24. Our recent Apex cruise (18 March) the CC breakfast was in the Le Grand Bistro.
