Smoking both in a previous life, I prefer the smell of marijuana over the stench of cigarettes. Vapers, smokers need to stick to the authorized smoking areas. If not...
We've encountered one smoker smoking on their balcony a few years ago. Lucky for us and not for the smoker as they/he/she/it were in the cabin next to ours. One call to GS and that ended that.
Might be a Summit thing based on @funship freddy experience and not fleetwide. Not doubting. We'll be on the Apex in March and will be in Grand Cayman on the 23rd. I'll wait and see what happens on our cruise. 🍻
We've done the RT Pacific Coastal cruises from Seattle and Vancouver with Celebrity and RC. Monterey and overnight San Francisco were always on the itinerary. We've got an 8 night Pacific Coastal cruise RT from LA (San Pedro) on 8 October on the Eclipse we booked while on the Summit last September. No Monterey (bummer) and no overnight in SF. We liked the overnight in SF as on the first day we would go over to Sausalito. Still a nice itinerary.

Both are owned by the RCG, but each operate independently. If you have the CBP or the PBP and you bring your own bottles of wine onboard and bring them into the dining venues the corkage fee is waved.
On our September Summit cruise there were four Peloton bikes for anytime use. No reservations required. There were other Peloton bikes in another part of the gym set aside for classes only. They were all tethered together when not in use.
I didn't say that. I don't know about bars. Someone else will answer, I'm sure. Just saying you can pour a glass of your wine in your stateroom and drink it anywhere on the ship.
