  1. Agree. Can't remember when the rebranding took place. We got the same credit each when we were grandfathered in. Not even sure what year that was. I'm shocked that our leather tag ID holders and the straps have held up so well considering the luggage handlers. Both airline and cruise line.
  2. Our first Celebrity cruise was in 1994 on the Zenith. We paid to join the founders club when we completed that cruise. $35.00 per person. Chandris Celebrity launch which was 1988 or 1989. We receive 4 leather luggage tag ID holders, 8 personalized luggage tags and 2 founders pins along with a welcome letter. We still use the leather luggage tag ID holders.
  3. Agree. Just checked in on 1 Feb for our March cruise. One device, two Xpress passes with each of our names.
  4. I agree with @jelayne. I have always checked both of us in using the same device and always get two Xpress passes. Rach one has our name on it. Just checked in on 1 Feb for our March cruise, two Xpress passes. Like always one with my wife's name and the other with my name. I would call Celebrity back and get this resolved prior to your sail date. We have always had to show both Xpress passes before proceeding to the check in person inside the terminal building. Also you each will have to show your Xpress passes before boarding the ship. Your Seapass cards will be waiting for you on the ship at your stateroom.
  5. I still receive all the PUPs and all the other junk Celebrity sends out.
  6. Today we are having a heatwave. A balmy 10 degrees and sunny. 😎
  7. It's a tough job, but somebody's go to do it. 😂
  8. You should have told them to take a picture it lasts longer. 😁 March 2017, we were on RCs Jewel Of The Seas. It was the third night, second leg of our B2B Caribbean cruise. We decided to dress formally on a suggested casual dress evening. My wife's idea. As we were entering the MDR for MTD reservation I heard a loud mouth lady (I use the term lady loosely) behind us say, "I guess they didn't read that paper thing in our cabin telling us what we have to wear tonight". I spun around look down at both her and her husband (or whoever he was) and said, “no I didn't read the Cruise Compass in your cabin. What did it say"?! They both just stood there like slugs. I then gave both of them a big smile while shaking my head, turned around. After my wife and I were seated, ordered our wine, made a toast to each other and my wife also added she was so thankful I didn’t drop the F-bomb on them we both had a good laugh and enjoyed our meal. We no longer take formal wear and not because of that incident. We don't let others intimidate us. I wear Polo/golf style shirts and dockers in the MDR in the evening (except the first evening I always wear shorts and a polo/golf style shirt) and my wife wears slacks and fancy tops.
  9. Just the DL which we prefer and like. No longer allowed in the CL. No more unlimited drinks during the CAS HH. The CAS HH in the DL is from 5 to 8:PM still with the small buffet for snacks. You will have 5 drinks loaded on your Seapass card daily to be used at most bars including the dining venues and the DL. No longer a special area in the MDR.
  10. Don't be sad, but yes that's what I said only based on #1.We can strongly disagree, but that's respectful. I'm all in favor and have said this in every thread concerning smoking and vaping that I support smokers and vapors doing their thing only in the designated areas. I don't blame smokers and vapers using the casino as a smoking lounge when it's closed to gambling. I blame only RC for that. Where's is vaping not enforced? If you are only talking about cabins, I agree and that would be impossible to enforce with the current type of smoke detectors. My Magic 8 Ball say's, "very doubtful". Looking forward to the next chapter. 😁
  11. Agree. My experience also. I'm on the track for 1.5 hours each morning, weather permitting. NLT 6:AM and off NLT 7:30 AM. My walking style is between a power walker and a speed walker.
  12. Good luck. Personally I hope RC doesn't make an exception in your case or others like yours. Your first post is why I say that. IMO, the adult thing to do would be to respect RCs decision if your request is denied.
  13. Another reason we don't book guaranteed cabins. We want to know exactly where our cabin is.
  14. Exactly why I said it. My Magic 8 Ball says, "cannot predict now".
  15. I was also. So until you hear from RC let it go. Then come back and share their response.
  16. All I was doing was thinking out loud. Not in my job description and way above my paygrade. Something for RC to figure out, if they really care (?).
