  1. This has been my experience as well. Patty
  2. Yes the online system has you reserved but once on ship, you'll find it pointless. Booking dining reservations online hasn't mattered on my last 2 sailings, one was as recent as last month. The e-class ships have open dining across all 4 Main Dining Rooms. The Maitre"d onboard will help the OP with a table of that size but might have to stick with the same MDR each night. Patty
  3. I was just offering @hcat a recent experience since he/she asked. I didn't need or miss it. Patty
  4. Sailed Beyond in Feb and Aug, no final bill under the door for us. Patty
  5. That was my post, happy to see you had the same experience. To the cost point, 100% agree! I actually preferred Secrets Maroma to Le Blanc but that is for another thread. 😊 Patty
  6. Brent Nixon is amazing! So fun and animated! Not @AbbyCruiser45 sailing... BUT... Aug 2018 On Princess besides the Park Ranger we had Nik Jans, he's the author of A Wolf Called Romeo and Libby Riddles, first woman to win the Iditarod. Patty
  7. I'm on the Solstice next July ~ Not seeing the same sale. Thx for the heads-up, Patty
  8. You can't use "snarky" that's been my defense for months!!! 😆 I always feel misinterpreted and feel the need to clarify! 😜 Patty
  9. I don't have a question??? I was explaining that the dining options and plans have changed so for me the Premium package is a value. No worries, all is good Patty
  10. I posted a diagram Post #15 Example Alfred's is now $15 but is unlimited in the Premium package.
  11. Exactly. Celebrities new target is the Cruiser who has nothing to compare. New Fresh Blood, regardless of age or income. So our choice is to accept and enjoy or sail on, Patty
  12. I agree from your point of view, the experienced traveler but I am looking at this from the point of view of the new younger demographic. The food cuts by eliminating Luminae would be beneficial. Many new cruisers stick with Cel tours and would see the OBC as a bonus. I am looking at this from their angle and their vision for reaching their new targeted guests. 🤷‍♀️ Shoot I have no idea what anyone is thinking, just spit balling like the rest of you 😜 Patty
  13. People would still get the Traditional Balconies, Larger Room, Pool Area and it would likely include more OBC. Just a guess? Really no clue! I don't sail in suites but at this point I wouldn't be surprised. Patty
  14. Agree that this is a good value for my travel style. Also looking forward to a new ship with a balcony, variety just might make the cut backs less noticeable. Also gained $100 OBC for Military Benefit plus Princess is refundable. I have realistic expectations and I am happy with my choice, Patty
  15. If we ever meet on a sailing, I'll share my drinks with you, if you share your craps winnings with me? 😁 Patty
  16. Still have burgers and pizza on deck plus International Cafe so imo very similar to Celebrity. Patty
  17. Did you opt for the Plus or Premium package? My sailing is a longs ways off so I assume the beverages on board will only go up in price. I felt like the premium package for us was well worth the cost for the dining options and wifi alone. Patty
  18. But did it include unlimited Casual dining that is now being charged @$15 per meal and 2 specialty meals per pax? Making sure I understand my plan. Patty

    Beyond

I did this past Feb. What would you like to know? Patty
  20. I've read it here on CC several times! 😜 Patty
