  1. I get it. I always take my own. One, I have plenty of room to take it, but also, I have had many issues with hotel dryers, so I learned not to depend on those. I do not want to waste precious vaca time hunting down or waiting on an employee to bring me a new one. 😄
  2. Any thoughts on this one working in Europe? Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question. This is our 1st trip to Europe, so this is all new for me. https://www.amazon.com/Conair-Worldwide-Voltage-Technology-Folding/dp/B07HB2ZRNJ/ref=sr_1_5?crid=2MM5CI3LYMHX4&keywords=European+hair+dryer&qid=1693356074&sprefix=european+hair+dryer%2Caps%2C137&sr=8-5#customerReviews
  3. No worries. Do you have a link for the one she has? I must take a hair dryer and I have no intention of taking the time to hunt one down in Athens.
  4. We have the same tickets and they also advised me that we can enter at any time. We’ll be there Oct 12th.
  5. Thanks for this review! I was not aware of the issue with the lights, so I am glad I read this. We are not able to use the Medallions so we have to request a key cards at check in. I have been reading about lots of issues with those, not just here either. Even if we could use those, I don’t think we would want to because we do not want to spend cruise time at the service desk getting issues corrected. Ugh… I wonder if that comedian is still gonna be on in October. We would really like to have someone that’s going to make us laugh. 🤪
  6. Our cruise is in Oct and I also felt the minimum bid was high. We decided not to bid and keep our balcony cabin. That minimum that we passed on is paying for 4 excursions (non-ship ones). 😄
  7. Thank you! That makes me feel much better. 😄
  8. I am starting to be concerned with our Acropolis tickets and need your input. (Please no sarcastic remarks).💖. We bought our tickets for Acropolis prior to them requiring the timed entry. I emailed the company I purchased the tickets from asking how these work since they are requiring timed entry now and they advised that these are good through October 31. (see email below). I purchased the tickets through a website: acropolis-tickets. Com What do you guys think about these tickets being legit? Bella (Headout) Aug 9, 2023, 15:24 GMT+5:30 Hey Jennifer, Thank you for writing to us! These tickets are open-dated tickets and valid until the 31st of October 2023. They can be used for a one-time entry until this date within the working hours Best, Team Headout Still have questions? Chat with our 24/7 support team HERE. We're just a ping away!
  9. Thanks ya’ll bunches! 💖 I can’t wait to gobble down some authentic Italian yummies! 😁
  10. Can anyone recommend a company to book a tour with that includes Corinth Canal?
  11. Thanks Bubbaboat! That makes me feel better about booking our tour!
  12. Yes, seasoned cruiser here, so I know what time we need to be back on board by. 😄 I am Italian and am very aware of regional and such, as well as cannolis. This is my first time in Italy and I want pizza and cannolis everywhere I am. We are just looking to grab some pizza before getting back on the ship. I’ve checked numerous pizza places within a mile from the port and most of them appear to be open during the time we will be looking to grab the pizza. I was just looking for some recommendations. Thank ya’ll for the suggestions!
  13. We will be in Naples until 7 PM and we would like to have dinner off the ship. We are looking for some really good pizza and some even better cannolis. Any suggestions on restaurants and bakeries around the Port area? Thank you in advance! 😄
  14. No issue for us. We have always been the steerage cruisers that cruise lines hate. We never spend money on board. Plenty of complimentary food options for us. No room service, beverage packages, ship excursions, etc. Bottom line—-as long as cruisers are willing to pay, they will continue with this insanity. 😡
  15. Thank you both for that info! I went out and read up on all of the perks and I think if I could get it for around $250 or a little more per person it would be worth it. We are spending a booku on airfare, so I can’t go much over that.
  16. Thank you! Yeah, I’m not sold yet….that definitely gives me some insight. 😄
  17. It’s a 7-day. I’m not all that familiar with the club class mini suite, so I wasn’t sure if it was worth it.
  18. We are booked in a regular balcony cabin for our Mediterranean cruise in October. I got the email to upgrade to a club class mini suite starting at $250 per person. Is that a good deal?
  19. QR codes don’t work on our phones. We don’t have those fancy expensive phones. So, we don’t need anything except our passports? No medallions for us either. Just our decision—I don’t need flaming.
  20. I’m assuming this won’t impact us if we have already purchased our tickets for October? We are spending 2 days pre-cruise in Athens and plan to do Acropolis later in the afternoon once most passengers are back on board.
  21. I didn’t, but I’m going to check that out now. Thank you for the suggestion!
  22. Exactly! That is the exact same reason I was confused when I got a response back from one of the tour companies I inquired with. I was inquiring with a couple of different companies for a tour to this area and I had one company respond and tell me they did not go to Costa Brava this late in October because all of the shops and restaurants are closed. We are strictly only wanting to go for the scenery, so I don’t care about anything being open or closed. Not looking for hours for the museum, we are not museum people. I think I’m going to go ahead and book the tour with In Out Barcelona tours. Thanks!
