Again great "live from" thread. Too bad you have to depart Friday. Makes me almost want to book a cruise this weekend myself just because I won't be able to "be on" the Enchantment after a week. Enjoy your day in Nassau.

Thanks for some of the info that I have been wondering about but haven't seen the answer to yet. The eggs on the room service menu is different than Monarch and that's great.

2 questions.

 

Did they offer the drink package on the 3 night (I thought I heard only 4 or longer nights?)

Is that Fat Tuesdays to the right after you exit the peir shops?

What a great live thread! Reminds me of when I was there a month ago. Also great points about the drink package. The one picture of all that's included is great and I didn't even see that when I bought the package and on that ship!

 

My thoughts on the package were like yours though. I did it but prob not again because it was a bit much for that many days in a row. Never got hungover or sick but prob would not of bad that "one more or two" at night if I had to pay more for it.

To all that were on that cruise sounds like it was fun. Like everyone else we will miss her here for the short weekend cruise but looking forward to Enchantment. It will be nice to have room for room service on a short weekend cruise.

 

Now wouldn't it be the best April fools joke if the Monarch stays and just does a 3 night tomorrow and resumes its routes next weekend? Wonder how much the surprise sailings would be.

We were on the cruise with you and your review is great! Now that chops steak looks real good that I bet many enjoyed it. ;)

Did anyone that bought this onboard have to pay tax on top of the 55per day? From what I can tell it might be better to decide then but tax on top of this would make a difference.

On the 12/13 Liberty Oana returned to the DL. She mentioned Effon returned to guest services. (She also ran the DL much better than he did by having more food and greeters at the entrance. )

Welcome home. I'd be interested to know how long it takes before you stop feeling the rocking. Actually I hope you two are ok the one time DW and I took the canal cruise she got "land sick" when we got home because her ears were used to the ocean.

Something that did strike me odd was what's the conversion rate HK$ to US$ cause $12 for an oreo mcflurry seams a bit high! :)

We had a pack in play on the liberty in a D1 and it wasn't too much for the room. We left it up all the time but never asked for it to be put away. The sheets were not changed (just like a normal bed) during the cruise until feeding went bad one morning. We just took the sheet out and asked the cabin steward for a new one. He changed it no problem. We left it up so it was ready for the "I need a nap now!" time.
