  1. There is language that provides the, “buyer beware/assumes all risk if booking more than one per port,” clause. Princess has their bases covered.
  2. That is an excellent point. My early 2022 review was off the charts. I recall (maybe the head waiter,) someone higher up stopping by our table and thanking us for his job. For all of their jobs. That certainly explains some of it, but there’s no real cost to ensuring a chafing pan doesn’t run dry or the corned beef hash doesn’t get crispy. As shareholders, I understand the cost saving measures. As a product consumer, I don’t understand the dip in quality where no savings are realized. '
  3. The noise from the Piazza spoils everything around it, including Crooner’s, Sabatini’s, the sushi place and Gigi’s. Not to mention it’s no longer a place to sip a drink and chat. There’s no chatting. It’s like being in a dance bar; screaming at each other only and lots of “WHAT? WHAT? WHAT?” Sad.
  4. You said you had a similar experience on the Ruby. I, too, hope it’s not a trend. Having almost every meal in MDR was a perfectly acceptable workaround, but it’s certainly not our preference. It seems to me the real cost savings is having more people eat at the buffet. they won’t, though, if it continues down this path.
  5. Oh dear. After our Enchanted, we are thinking of going back to the Crown class ships. I’m looking forward to reading more reviews.
  6. You can get 4 of each type of alcohol delivered to your cabin. I could get 2 Southern Comfort, no ice, 4 beers for Nerd and each a glass of wine. Now we have our glass of wine and reserves for later. As long as you don’t go over your 15, it’s fine.
  7. You can’t get soda from IC.
  8. We found both surveys in my husband’s email. There was an issue with my account that had his email in mine, but we fixed it onboard. It seems it didn’t have time to propagate the change throughout all their various systems. I filled it out. I mentioned piazza noise at least six times!! Thanks, everyone.
  9. Thank you. It’s not there. I will call CS. I’m sure that will go just fine. 🤣
  10. @MissP22 or @PacnGoNow - do either of you have the email? The subject line will help me search my email. I really do want to provide feedback.
  11. Oh. 😞 I really hope they send me a post-cruise survey. I didn’t get one last cruise.
  12. I haven’t received the survey, yet. I’ve been checking my email regularly; including spam.
  13. I’m hoping it’s just the ship’s situation and not a fleet wide issue. We completely intend on sailing Princess again. It’s time for us to go back to the Grand class ships. We’ve been doing Royal class since the launch of the Royal. The buffet quality is one of the good things about Princess, so I’m really hoping it’s a one-off.
  14. If you have the plus plan, there is no need to pay for an extra bottle. Just have drinks delivered to your room. You can get it any way you want, so you can get it without ice or mixer and make it yourself as you like. Have the room steward keep fresh ice in your fridge and order the alcohol and mixer separately in the app.
  15. Just of Enchanted Princess. A small section of that casino is smoking. My husband is allergic and I’m a former smoker, and it didn’t really bother either of us. We were prepared to wear N95 masks, if needed, but it really wasn’t necessary. There’s still a smell in the area; likely an anti smoke deodorizer of some sort. It’s effective, but leaves its own scent. (It’s not awful, but others may feel differently.)
  16. New Love Boat in MDR. I am not happy about this. Black and blue soup from Crown Grill via room service. It was good. $7. The bread course at The Catch. I don’t remember what it was, but I do remember loving it. The bread was warm. It was some sort of spread. Hopefully, someone who has been to this venue remembers.
  17. Behind the Seas lecture in the theatre. Nerd found this out and about; we re-hid it. Night football on MUTS. I believe this was a Sunday afternoon game.
  18. A crazy good upcharge appetizer at The Catch. It was $19 for one serving, but we shared and it was way more than enough. It had a bit of everything in there; crab, lobster, shrimp, clams, mussels, oysters. Steak tartare from Crown Grill. I don’t remember where this is from. Lobster at Crown Grill I believe this dessert is from MDR. Beef Wellington, MDR, final formal night Way too many mussels from O’Malleys
  19. We spent more time in the MDR than we usually do, because the buffet area was just so sad. For the most part, the service here was top-notch. Props to the Maitre’D. He was ever present. I have to say that both breakfast and lunch here were really good. The main complaint is how long it takes to eat those meals, when we are more “grab and go,” types of people. Most dinners we ate in the MDR were very good to excellent. I’d say the exception is the seafood, which pales in comparison to The Catch. This is to be expected, however. J Crown Grill remains a favorite of ours. We never miss Crown Grill, and we just did our 10th Princess cruise. The beef tartar and black & blue soup never disappoint. This time, we opted for lobster instead of steak, and it was delicious. In our opinion, Crown grill is on our permanent “recommended,” list. I hope that never changes. The Catch Wow. This new addition is amazing. We were blown away by the experience. Our waiter had the brilliant audacity to offer us better options than what we originally thought we wanted. Every dish was as good as the next. We had some of everything; fish, shrimp, clams, mussels, oysters, crab, lobster – did I leave anything out? LOL. My only disappointing dish was the berry soufflé for dessert. I just didn’t like it at all. It was my first soufflé, ever, so maybe I just don’t like them. I have several pictures from this restaurant.
