We are on board! The traditional dining reservation we've had showing for 20 months got lost in the last five days. Grrrr. It won't spoil our time but it is disappointing.

It’s all fountain soda. The largest cups available are at the bars on the Lido deck. Always ask for the largest cup, or you will spend the same on way fewer ounces.

Yes - EZ Air; Delta from FLL to ATL then to France then Rome. Sunday the 19th.

We are doing the same! Our first time ever crossing the pond. Going to Rome for three days and joining the cruise on the 23rd. We will be eating at Crown Grill for Thanksgiving this year. Woot!

I am bumping this up as hopefully some new eyes will catch it. We are on the TA home bound for FLL as well, and aren’t sure what to do here. The Princess excursions do not interest at all, but whale watching looks like a do-it-yourself nightmare that is bound to fail.

@Steelers36 @dickinson @Hlitner Thank you all so much. I was able to add the trip to my Delta. Perfect. Last time we flew Delta 1st class, only I got to choose a meal; my husband never got an email or a choice, and he couldn't eat because all that was left was tofu. We shared my not-enough-for-two-meal. It's important we get to choose ahead of time.

This is very helpful information. We are doing a bunch of firsts; first time to Europe, first time in business class cubes and first time EZ Air. A question - how did you go about selecting your meals and checking in for the EZ Air flights? I’ve gotten no real communication and I can’t see the trips on Delta; only on Princess.com. This time in two weeks, we’ll be over the ocean. 🙂

Luckily for everyone, nobody is obligated to buy anything they don't see value in. Life is grand!!!

The prices aren’t silly for everything. In several cases, it’s cheaper, because you are buying duty free. Alcohol and perfume come to mind. I think cigarettes, too, but I quit so long ago, I wouldn’t know. I’ve found a couple of very nice shirts and sweaters for around Ross/TJ Max prices. It’s knowing how to shop for bargains. Also note; many people, (NOT all,) can afford $90 tank tops, and will buy them. These types of stores exist all over the world and make plenty of money.

This is a big bucket list item for me. We had to cancel the first one we had scheduled, because life got in the way. I feel for you! Your consolation prize is a pretty darned good one, though!! The Enchanted is beautiful. We can’t wait to get back to her.

I've been having issues with their website for years? Can I login? Sometimes. Will it acknowledge my previous eight cruises? Probably not, until I contact my TA. They tend to hang around until my next booked cruise, and then we repeat the process. Madness how stupid buggy their website continues to be.

I’d retort that if they are willing to give thanks to Beelzebub with me, I’ll thank whomever they want,. Because, C’mon… that’s utterly ridiculous. I’ll happily sit quietly while others do their thing. If they insist on my compliance, I’ll just ask the Maitre D for a new table and won’t hesitate to explain why.

Interesting; well, I checked all of that. I guess that at least partially explains why so few are aware of these HS-style Homecoming week dress up activities!!

Can you tell me where these emails are coming from? I don’t think I’ve seen a, “here’s what’s happening next month,” email from Princess in several years. I think the last one must have been at least 10 years ago. I get everything from the TA or the app, now. (And, here, of course.)

Thanks. I didn’t notice it. I haven’t seen an email about it. I get about 5 emails a week from Princess Casino, but I don’t ever get email from Princess regarding the voyage itself. I get all information in the app. What email address would it come from? PS I do plenty of research; thanks.

Never do any of the pseudo-science stuff offered by the spa. Never let another person’s attire ruin my meal.

There was a white night on our last princess cruise. We knew nothing about it. Is there a notification somewhere that we should bring our Hawaiian shirt, or whatever colored clothing would be appropriate on that night?

It’s always been the case that regular paying customers pay for the shoplifters. It’s that way at all retail stores, as well as at sea. There’s a whole industry related to helping people cheat the system. Now, if only those people could get their rum runners for free!!! 🙂
