Can someone please tell me what soft drinks are available - specifically do they have Coke Zero. I don't really want to bring my own, but would like to enjoy my usual.

Military and shareholders OBC is combinable
traveldayz replied to Cruise Raider's topic in Princess Cruises
We are currently half way through a cruise. The shareholder benefit was applied for several months ago but was refused. Today the credit has been applied to my onboard account. -
Military and shareholders OBC is combinable
traveldayz replied to Cruise Raider's topic in Princess Cruises
I just did a live chat with Princess. They informed me that there was no change to the policy that came into effect in September 2022 that made the two benefits non- combinable. -

Military and shareholders OBC no longer combinable soon.

Australian cruiser here. They are very strict about not applying for shareholder credit more than 90 days beforehand. In fact I applied at 89 days and was told it was too early and reapply in less than 90 days! I was unaware of the policy change in regard to combinable OBCs, and so was refused SOBC as MOBC had already been applied. The cruise was paid in full in May. I am a bit narky that others have been able to have the credit applied waaay in the future, but because we have to wait till under 90 days to apply, it is "too bad, so sad". -
Currently on the Majestic Australia/New Zealand, and in C19 isolation. We are being given very little information - if we ask a question, it gets a different reply depending on who answers from guest services. How do we go about claiming a FCC for days in iso? Can we get laundry done? If so is it in super hot water? I ask this because our laundry linen goes into biohazard bags is is probably treated separately.

We are now on the second cruise. No RAT required (on the Majestic Princess). Easy turnaround day - just had to show our transit passes and then passport through customs to get back on the ship. Luggage was left in our cabin, and was in our new cabin on reboarding. Masks are still compulsory indoors on this cruise unless actively eating or drinking.

We are on the Majestic Princess and having a great time. The next trip is to New Zealand. There have been very few reported cases onboard this trip, and less coughing and sneezing in public that I have ever seen on a ship

This is our last day of a South Pacific cruise, so we have to get off the ship for 2 hours tomorrow. We have been given transit passes which we have to show along with our passports to expedite our embarkation for the next cruise. No mention of a RAT requirement.

Update on Covid status of Majestic Princess
traveldayz replied to marie94949's topic in Princess Cruises
Yes I’m almost certain that I haven’t had it. I work in health care and I couldn’t begin to guess how many times I have been tested. We were issued with packs of 20 at a time to test daily (or even more often at times) -
Update on Covid status of Majestic Princess
traveldayz replied to marie94949's topic in Princess Cruises
Only for a little while longer, I bet, as we have a B2B2B coming up. My husband has been asking if it's possible to have the latest vaccine as a booster. (Not eligible as we have already had 4 doses) -
Update on Covid status of Majestic Princess

We will be on the next cruise on the Majestic. Friends have been horrified that we are cruising and asked why we are going. I replied " We haven't had Covid yet." -
Taieri gorge railway excursion 2023

Oh what a shame you that you can no longer book directly. We travelled into Dunedin and got tickets from the train station in 2019 which was a much cheaper option. Fabulous trip. -
Majestic Princess plus package inclusions
traveldayz replied to traveldayz's topic in Australia & New Zealand Cruisers
Thank you. I would rather know now than be disappointed later. He will have to give the mocktails a whirl!! -
We have the princess plus package on the Majestic Princess next month. My husband doesn't drink alcohol or coffee so I have a couple of questions on his behalf. Does the package include milkshakes or smoothies? How about proper orange juice? Otherwise, it will be just diet coke! At least one of us will make it worthwhile......

Communication with family at home
traveldayz replied to traveldayz's topic in Australia & New Zealand Cruisers
Thanks everyone. At least I can warn my dad it will be hit-and-miss! -
I Skype my dad every day when at home, and I know some ships block this. What do people use on the Majestic?

Blue Mountains transport and sightseeing

Thanks for that. We have booked a week at a cottage in Laura in January to fill in post-cruise time, and don’t know the area at all so HOHO is ideal -
Suggestions for cruises in Australian waters
traveldayz replied to MMDown Under's topic in Australia & New Zealand Cruisers
Anything leaving from Perth is eye-wateringly expensive. It’s cheaper for us to fly to and stay over in Sydney and do the routine stuff from there.
