This is exactly why we switched from Celebrity after 28 cruises; they were making too much of a difference in their "class" of passenger.  When we first cruised with them inside cabin passengers were treated the same as suite passengers.  We have a cruise booked for September and another for June 2024.  We don't drink alcohol and have determined we are far better paying for soft drinks/fresh squeezed o.j. as we go.  We never use room service or order food delivery on the app so no issues there.  We always enjoyed one or two trips to Alfredo's but truly love Slice so, again, no big deal but definitely a disappointment.  We'll make a decision on the 2024 cruise after this upcoming one since we don't like the direction Princess is headed.

Dolphin deck has lifeboats directly below.  It really didn't impact our Sky sailing and, hopefully, not our upcoming Enchanted sailing but, in future, I wouldn't book anything below Baha.

Since we've already done a land vacation in Santorini, we're planning on sitting on our balcony and relaxing in Santorini instead of fighting the crowds.  Should be a nice relaxing day.

Sounds good but.....not worth taking the chance and then finding out there is no line available.  

Guess it's all subjective but I have LOVED the beef offerings on our Regal, Grand Princess and Sky Princess cruises.  I had read so many complaints about the beef prior to our Sky cruise from Southampton that I was expecting the worst.  Didn't happen.

@Charmslittleworld. Since you will have had a very long overseas flight you might opt to relax in Piraeus rather than rushing about seeing Athens.  Only you know what your energy level is.

Thanks.  We’ve been to Sicily on 2 land vacations; LOVED Taormina.  No desire to fight the hordes on a day trip.  😂

As you have so little time to actually "see" Athens, I would suggest heading straight to Piraeus for the overnight.  We are taking the X96 bus directly for the airport to Piraeus.  We have booked Lilia Hotel which is very reasonably priced, close to restaurants and has very good reviews.

No matter the "excuse" very poor handling of the situation.

Our Norwegian Fjords/Iceland cruise out of Southampton had quite a few "British" menu items and our Grand Princess to Alaska had a nice selection of "Alaskan" items.  As noted above, check out the buffet for specialty evenings.  Someone posted Patters from their recent Mediterranean cruise and there was "Greek", "Mediterranean", "Italian".

Thanks to Fouremco I read that I had to update our Nexus information when we got our new passports.  I was totally unaware of this requirement.  Followed his instructions - no problem!  🥰

Our Caribbean Princess cruise isn't until JUNE 2024 and the only options given was Palm.  I'll check periodically and make a change if possible.  Since our cruise is in the North Atlantic I'd prefer a mid-ship dining experience.

We enjoyed the spiced cheddar in the buffet; very flavourful.

We have booked John Lopez Rock tour for 8 on our Enchanted Princess roll call for September 11th.  John Bull always gives good advice and seems to think this tour, although expensive, gives value.  I have read some comments that make me leery of regular taxi drivers so we shall see.  🤞🏻

@kadeyHave you joined your cruise Roll Call?  Ours has lots of small group tours for the various ports so you might get lucky.

We loved Capri where we did a 4 day land vacation.  So glad we didn’t have to deal with the cruise ships!

You have to have a reservation in the MDR to see their menu.  If you have a specialty reservation, it will show you that menu.

You won’t see the MDR menus until the actual day and, even then, they aren’t always correct.

We visited Marseille on a land vacation and found it the dirtiest place we have ever been.  We're supposed to stop there on our September cruise and aren't planning on getting off the ship.

@fpsphilIs your last photo Kotor?  Looks gorgeous but there is NO WAY my husband and I would be capable of that climb so thanks for posting what we won't be seeing.  😂
