This video clearly shows the downtown rental car places (those with free port shuttles) and directions - it says Budget but the others are also shown:

The map below shows all the popular rental car offices (including the ones who do NOT offer shuttles such as National)

What location code is that Budget location for turning in our rental car? We are picking up at FLL and want to drop off pre-cruise at the Budget location and take their shuttle to the port.

    Thanks for posting the video.

  2. We really liked this tour the first time we were in St Maarten.

The only thing we didn't like was the last stop we made was at a discount and souvenir store. It was unnecessary and took time away from our doing other things before having to head back to the ship. Fortunately the store was just a few blocks from the down town area and we could leave the tour at that time.

    Other wise highly recommend them.

Think it’s one of the Avatar creatures?

    From Avatar I think.

Oh but did that turkey taste so good. Seasoning was just right.

I do miss my specialty dining this cruise but the main dining room and other options have met my expectations.

I am pretty sure it is Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy i and II as well as the Avengers.

Really enjoying your review. We're on that itinerary in October.

  4. I'm not sure it is much different than sale prices but last year we purchased excursions, drink packages and internet during the Black Friday sale. We kept getting emails about the same/similar offers up until our cruise. Still an option because if it drops further you can cancel and re-book them.

Haven't noticed actual cruise prices drop but we'll see.

  5. I'm not sure I buy the comment that when you purchase something it goes away. There were two options for 1 or 2 people. We purchased one of them so shouldn't the other one still be available? I wonder why it isn't showing on my calendar in Cruise Planner.

I checked my credit card and we were charged for it and no refund so far. I guess we'll see once on board.

We paid for two. Not sure if we make two pieces or work together to make one.

I also thought it was odd that unlike other activities it didn't specify a time. You would expect that when you booked it you would select a time.

  6. Our Edge sailing is offering a Glass Blowing Class. $50 for one person or $90 for two. It said it lasts 20 minutes

and you make your own piece.

I believe this is significantly different than the Glass Blowing Show on the S class ships. For one that was a

show and this is a class. The show was free and you didn't sign up. You just showed up. This you are paying for.

Although it does seem unusual for other classes of ship it seems that it will be a much smaller operation.

This would have to be a major IT mistake that includes pictures and booking.

  7. I've looked at the top rated options. Of course Woodwind would be the best. Sea Cow is only available to be booked via RCI. They look nice however, no bathrooms on board. 3 1/2 hours is a long time and being in the water and drinking are hard to deal with when there isn't a bathroom on board. And no, I'm not looking to go in the sea.

Still trying to find somebody that has been on this excursion.
