  1. you can bring one 12 pack of soda/juice/water per person on board. Have to be in cans or boxes. No plastic. You can also order water pre-cruise to be delivered to your stateroom. Or wait till on board and order from room service.
  2. @sid_9169 how were the pork bites and steak? The pictures made them look good.
  3. Yes you can do that as long as they are not more than 2 or three rooms away from your room. You could also book one adult in each room and then ask for extra keys once on board.
  4. @sid_9169 @MeganGC1983 and all the other tribe cruisers, I want to thank you for my total lack of productivity today and the rest of the week.
  5. I don't think it has anything to do with buying cheers on previous cruises. All of my offers include drinks on us everywhere and I have never purchased cheers and only drink about 3-5 alcoholic drinks per cruise if I have the offer, zero drinks without the offer.
  6. They do not have to purchase cheers.
  7. That sounds like me and my wife. I pump the gas, go in use the bathroom and then sit in the car waiting. She actually shops. Who shops at a gas station?
  8. I have never met @Roscoe13 but I have a feeling he is toning down his humor on this board. So my feeling is he is funnier in person
  9. @MeganGC1983 I handle all the vacation arrangements. Mr Megan sounds like my DW. She is constantly asking me when our next cruise is, I have told here at least 20 times. And then she always asks is this the one with St. Thomas. She should know it is because we specifically picked this itinerary because she wanted to go to St. Thomas.
  10. I do this a lot with work emails to my customers. I type out what I really want to say, then wait an hour, then I usually end up deleting the entire email.
  11. I had no idea. When I turned 50 a few years ago, they started mailing me. I didn't join but I guess I should.
  12. You look like you are 20 years away from joining AARP.
  13. I have never used cruise cash on Carnival, but I did purchase casino cash on Celebrity because they offered a 10% discount. I don't remember the limit.
  14. I have 5 grand daughters that know I don't say no. The struggle is real.
  15. I am not to proud of this, but when I was around 11 we found a pay phone that worked without putting a dime in it. Needless to say my friends and I made a lot prank phone calls.
  16. This may be an all time record for number of pictures that Patti takes.
  17. @MeganGC1983 I understand missing formal night for the game. We were on a cruise during the world series, so I didn't eat dinner 4 of the nights. Just had food delivered to me in the Hero's sports bar.
  18. My DW and I love St. Thomas. We did a weeklong vacation after our cruise a couple of years ago. We are going on the Magic in August with the same itinerary as this cruise plus St. Maarten. Looking forward to the adventures. Thanks again for taking us along.
  19. @MeganGC1983 How long are you in port at St. Thomas? We did St. John on our own. Made sure and got off the ship right away, took a taxi to the ferry. At St. John, took another taxi to Trunk Bay. Had a great time was able to spend 4-5 hours at St. John. Our port time was 8 to 4. Took the 9 am ferry over and the 2 pm ferry back.
  20. My cruise a couple of months ago was during the World Series. Since I couldn't miss the games, I ended up not going to dinner on 4 of the nights. I ordered food delivery to the Hero's sports bar. Wings and Quesadillas for a fee. I think they were $5 or $6 each plus tip.
  21. One more thing to add about the timing of the food options. When the buffet is closed there is usually at least one other food option open. either Pizza, the Deli or Guys burgers. late at night you are limited to Pizza or the new late night snack buffet.
  22. Bacon is served every day in the MDR for breakfast. I have been on 20 Carnival cruises and have yet to encounter a difficult employee. The room attendant does only clean once per day, but you can choose if you want morning or evening service. They tend to push for morning service. I have always been offered bread in the MDR for dinner, so it may just have been the lack of a helper.
  23. I have done both a Havana Cabana and Havana Interior on the Vista and Panorama. I prefer to save the money and book the Havana interior since the Havana area offers a large area to sit and enjoy outside. The pool and hot tubs are not crowded at all.
