We spend very little on the ship except for gambling. On board purchases do not affect your offers. Like @mz-s says, it helps if you interact with the casino host.

They only give the bounce back offers to a certain number of players per cruise. You may have been to far down the list. Also, the new offers come out after August 30th, you may get a great offer.

@Saint Greg have you heard anything on your upgrade bid?

In my 20 cruises I have yet to see a dog onboard. Have seen them while boarding and in various ports.

We booked the Vista for October this year over the Jubilee because of the Havana area. Turns out the Jubilee would have been canceled so I am glad we chose the Vista. I agree with Susan, the interior Havana rooms is better than a balcony room because you are only steps from the Havana area.

Just be careful when upgrading your room. Sometimes you lose the casino deal. Not sure about the Diamond upgrade.

I am pretty sure the exist next to the gift shop is for crew only. They won't let you walk through the gates.

I have only been to one concert at ATT, Guns and Roses. The sound quality sucked, lots of echoing, therefore, I won't go again. Was the sound quality better with the stage set up in the center?

Just remember to spin the slot a couple of times before cashing out. I did it twice without playing the slot machine first. They locked my card until they could scold me. Once I told them I wouldn't do it again they unlocked the card.

I have had both the Havana Cabana on the Vista and Havana interior on Panorama. Because of being so close to the Havana area an interior room works great. We are in an interior Havana room on the Vista in October. I highly recommend Havana on Vista class ship.

On my last cruise we took our grandkids. Twice in the theater we ordered 3 Shirley Temples for the kids. The first server took mine and my DW cards and put 2 of the drinks on our cheers and charged us for the additional drink. I was ok with paying for all 3 if I was charged. The second time the server put 2 drinks on cheers and she waited 5 minutes on her own and put the 3rd drink on cheers. This was my experience.

The offer will state if it is for you and a companion. With drinks on us you will still have to both buy cheers if you want cheers. No discounts on Cheers.

My last 2 cruises out of long beach, one a 7 day Panorama and one a Journey cruise, we were off the ship with priority debarkation and to the Long Beach airport by 10 am. We took a taxi which was cheaper than Uber and faster. I don't think you can make a 10:30 flight out of LAX.

I have brought a letter with us both times we traveled with friends of our kids or our grandkids. Carnival has a form on their website you can download. Neither time was I asked to show the letter. But better to have it and not need it. Plus the letter also includes medical power of attorney in case of an emergency.

Do you cruise in the fall during Saints bye week?

On our cruise last month on the dream we were able to view the digital pictures in the hub app.

My last cruise out of galveston at sail away time they announced they were still waiting on 300 people to do muster. I agree go right when you board.

Once the casino opened the drinks on us everywhere was active. We didn't try to order a drink prior to the casino opening.
