There is also something odd about his smile, sort of like there are too many teeth in his mouth.🤔 I also didn't appreciate what those women were allowed to do with the deck crew at that dinner. Imagine if it had been male guests treating the female crew like that? Maybe I'm just getting old.🫥

With all respect, this is a two way street. I've seen scooters going down the Royal Promenade as if they own it and people had best get out of their way. I came very close once to having my foot run over.

I see the whale. That airport reminds me a bit of the one on Saba in the Caribbean. I have not flown into it but we have cruise by it at night. Also, it looks a bit like the one on St. Maarten where my brother and I had the experience of being blasted with the jet exhaust of a 747 spooling up for takeoff. I wish our parents had caught a picture. Surfing the fence. It was good to be young and stupid. I will never forget it!🙂

Seven free nights on Oasis sounds better to me that five free nights on Indy. Neither itinerary is very exciting. There is plenty to do on Oasis to not have to spend much time in a inside cabin. I've never stayed in a JS so I can't say from experience if it is worth 2 less days on the ship.

I, too, am not a Parrothead. I do like a lot if his studio recorded music but I don't think his voice really sounded that good on his live recordings. However, there was something about him that attracted me to his Caribbean / Margaritaville "vibe". I am sorry to hear the news.

I had no interest in the Q class ships but booked Odyssey only because the date, price, and itinerary all fell in line. I absolutely love that ship and have her booked again this coming February. And I think she has the best Windjammer that I have been in.

One year we were on the deck of Indy waiting to set sail an Oasis was leaving before us. My mother says she would really like to see that ship some time. I'm not sure how many times she mentioned Oasis during that cruise. Guess which ship our next cruise was on...

That was my thought too.

We did the Southern out of San Juan on Serenade also. That was back when we were cruising in a larger family group and my parents would come along. Serenade is a beautiful ship but my mother reminded me several times that she missed the Royal Promenade and I did too. If it had not been such a port intensive cruise (one sea day at the end) I'm sure I would have had more reminders. Mom can be a bit persistent.🙂
