  1. Well, if we had a test for every possible virus we could put a name to every "cold". However, the name doesn't typically matter.
  2. There would have to be some amazing itinerary to get me on that ship and I still don't think I'd walk aboard.
  3. The chairs are comfortable to sit in but ergonomically they function poorly. If you have a drink and put it on the table it takes a bit of effort to reach it. A small table my the side of the chair would be more functional.
  4. I'll tell you what you do when someone needs to be seen and the schedule is full... you stay in the office later and take care if them. This isn't rocket science. I also can't stand the term "provider". Insurance companies must have invented that.🙄
  5. That is the difference between an employed physician who is run by the office and a physician in private practice who runs the office.... generally speaking. I do know some self employed docs who are obsessed with a packed schedule.
  6. I just found what must be a blast email from CC. It says it gas been awhile since I've been here and they miss me.😄😄😄
  7. Another post that I would have missed if not for someone else's quote. Sorry to hear of the diagnosis. Keep in mind that ALS can progress very differently in different people. My point being that you should not read other people's stories and extrapolate them to being your story. Keeping a positive mental focus is one of the best things you can do to keep this at bay. That part is your job. Your doctors will help you with all the rest. I am glad that you shared your news. This thread is not all about happy smiley stuff. Now we can all help you stay positive when you might be feeling a bit down.
  8. And that is another thing. Retesting to see if the Covid test turns negative has gone "out of fashion" quite some time ago. Though I don't know how long ago this season was filmed.
  9. Well, considering that the engine didn't suck in water just sitting at the dock, they either intentionally broke it sitting at the dock or it broke down earlier and was towed there and they figured they'd work it into the story. Now, do they have a miraculous fix or do they really sit at the dock for two weeks fixing it?
  10. I don't understand how a boat has such a big problem and no one knows until just before a charter starts. They worry about the boat looking pretty and shining the stainless but no one stays on top of the mechanical parts?
