Seems like this was the year to bring the little bugger home. I'm just glad I got home before it reared it's head. It would not have been fun to be on the ship with it.
I know exactly what you are saying. I don't think it makes you a lightweight. My eating, drinking, and exercising on a cruise are so different than at home. By the end of the cruise I look forward to getting back to my normal routine as I just feel better.
I, too, have no problem going back to V/F class ships even after multiple O class sailings. I find those smaller ships more relaxing. Though I have really come to like Q class ships which I didn't really have an interest in. Somehow Odyssey managed to win me over.
This is what makes CC so great. Debates about how to pack, how much to pack, how much underware is enough, how often to change your underware, whether or not to do laundry in the bathroom sink vs. wearing your dirty underwear in the pool.......
I've had some great times on Adventure. They need to get rid of the old RC Singers and Dancers production shows though. They are so not up to today's standards.
If you enjoy the service you are welcome to it. I don't appreciate the "service". We should both have the option that we prefer. What you perceive as a luxury I view as an annoyance.
