I visited Perth the first time in 2003 as the embarkation point for the "Nullabor" train to Sydney but have sad memories of it as the place where QM2's (and Crystal Serenity, Amsterdam and other) world cruises ended in 2020, The meal is tempting but it will be ham for me tonight. Someone mentioned visiting the Antarctic Center in Christchurch. That's what I did from the Crystal Symphony in 2018.
