  1. They opened the balcony dividers for us on Meraviglia in November. 🙂 Hoping they will do this on Seascape and Seaside also, as we have adjoining balconies on both those ships...
  2. I agree... seems like CC is not quite back up to speed since Covid. At least we are seeing more live reviews again! The roll calls are not as active as they were prior to March 13, 2020. Seems like people jumped ship to other social media but I find CC is still my favorite place for cruise info!
  3. The 45-minute time limit is for a special all-you-can-eat event at the Sushi Bar. People get their facts confused a bit 😆
  4. Following along! Thank you for posting so many details. 12 days until it is our turn 😁
  5. We were Fantastica on Meraviglia in November. We were unable to purchase wrist bands. The reason customer services gave was that it is “better for the environment” so they did away with wrist bands. We loved the wrist bands in 2019 on both Meraviglia and Seaside. I hope we can purchase them on Seascape in March - Fantastica again… Will report on my live review at that time.
  6. I sure hope MSC does not follow that suggestion. I love how “quiet” and natural it is. 🙂

    Wristbands?

When was your last cruise on Seaside? We just got off Meraviglia Thanksgiving a couple of months ago and they did not have the wristbands as option anymore. They told us they did away with them since it is "better for the environment." Our previous cruise on Meraviglia in 2019 we had them.
  8. Yes, umbrellas were free closest to the ship, first come first serve basis. North beach is less crowded and umbrella rental is $12 pre-cruise. There are also some shaded areas of palm trees if you just want to move a lounger into the shade. We found loungers at Bimini beach already in the shade, which was handy! 🙂 Bottom line- you don’t NEED to rent an umbrella, but it is convenient if that is what you prefer.
  9. Unfortunately, there was nothing specific in pre cruise communication. I did find thus blurb on the MSC website…
  10. Yes, those two are standard on MSC. They usually go through the decades, but 70’s and White Night are standard and well attended in our experience. Enjoy planning! 🙂
  11. Ditto the above. We cruised Thanksgiving on MSC and we had to print out the Health Questionnaire to be filled out and brought to the port. It was page 5 of our cruise documents. It has to be filled out within 6 hours of boarding. Here is our questionnaire from November:
  12. Thank you for hunting down answers to our questions! I have the thermal spa pass for March... Does your wife have to make appointments to use the thermal area? Or can she just show up anytime? 🙂
  13. Hi! I am sorry I don't know the answer to that. However, everything was pretty much back to 'pre-COVID' status. I would assume they do provide the balls. There were many people using the courts and I doubt all of them would have known to bring them on the cruise. 🙂 I would suggest you could ask someone currently on the ship on their roll call, or maybe on the next cruise coming up. When is your cruise?
  14. A Few Final Thoughts: Consistent service with a smile! It seems like Celebrity really takes care of their own, and Captain Michael must be an amazing leader. We did not experience even one unfriendly staff or crew member during the week! We like that you can use the app to make reservations, opt out of the evening turn down service, and follow daily activities. However, the app was not always accurate for the dinner menu, so it is worth double checking. One night, the dessert menu was completely different. We enjoyed the activities, especially watching the paper plane contest and crazy golf. Ana Dulce has such a unique sense of humor and an amazing hostess at these contests! Although internet was spotty and unreliable at first, it improved greatly around day 3 or 4. We really appreciate the free minutes for Elite, as it allowed me to keep up on posting our “View” to some extent. TIP: If you have any tips to add regarding this ship, please do so. Thank you for cruising along and enjoy planning your adventures! ...until we find our sealegs again...
  15. We 'found' some Cruising Ducks. Our neighbors were hiding them on the ship. We did not really find any, but they left some on our door 😄 I guess we 'found' them hiding in plain sight!
  16. TIP: The jogging track does not go all around the top deck. You can expand your walk/jog around the ship though, going all the way forward to the basketball court and all the way aft through the sunset bar. If you do the whole deck one round, it measures 0.33 mi on my Apple Watch. So, 3 times around will add up to about a mile. Basketball court - forward on deck 15:
  17. Solarium: TIP: On our cruise the Solarium had family hours between 5 and 7 pm when children were allowed in the area.
  18. Main Pool Area: One is quite shallow The Shallow pool 3 ft 2 in to 4 feet: (The other one started around 4 feet to 6 feet)
  19. The Lawn Club & Sunset Bar: Big Screen Movies and Sports, complete with seats on the lawn: The Porch:
  20. Entrance to Ensemble Lounge: My favorite decor... Flowers on the walls, floor, and ceiling! 🌸
