  1. Same time as any other port terminal. I plan on showing up by 11am.

If you go to the Homeports forum on CC you can get lots of information about Bayport terminal. You will probably have questions about how to get there from airport (port is closer to HOU Hobby than Bush IAH), whether it is better to stay near airport or near port (nearest hotels to port seem to be in Kemah or Seabrook), best way to transfer to port etc.

I was surprised your question was about embarkation time. That is the least concern.

Beating the crowds is a BIG CONCERN for my family...we always look for the best time of day to embark the ship.

  2. We've cruised only out of Galv. till now. This is our first cruise on NCL. Can anyone tell me what time is best to show up at Bayport terminal? Thank you so much!

Good question...we showed up around 12:15 and it was a ZOO trying to get the car parked and then getting in the line to get inside the terminal took 35 minutes. Once inside to get through security and checked in was about 30 minutes. So next time we will be showing up earlier.

  3. I also thought a mini suite was not worth it for the little extra room and a bit larger bathroom. I don't need a double sink in the ships bathroom as its tight anyways for two people to fit and the little extra room inside isn't really much for two people, if you have three/four people in the stateroom, then I say go for it.

Definitely not worth the $240 that I would have to pay just for a double sink...lol. $240 will pay for some of the nicer dinners!

  4. According to the dailies, Ocean Blue on the Waterfront is only open from 12-2 on sea days. It is an a la carte restaurant, but if you have the UBP you get 20% off.

So you are saying that if you have the unlimited beverage plan you get 20% off? You did not mean the unlimited dining plan?

  5. Not called "Dress up or not" for quite awhile. It's called "Norwegians' night out" but principle is the same: only dress up if you feel like it.

How many "Norwegian's night out" nights are there, on a 7-day? (1or 2?)

    Thanks! :)

  6. We are doing our first NCL cruise and when we booked we received the unlimited beverage plan. I pretty much understand the plan but is the usual 15% tip included or do you need to tip every time you order a drink?
