  1. Oh gosh, I can't imagine having to do all the traveling you did to get home being sick. I luckily only had to go 1.5 hours and slept the whole way. That's a big deal because I do all the driving in our family. LOL Hope you are totally recovered and thank you for the kind words. Happy Holidays to you, Jo and your family!
  2. Thank you so much. And thanks for the compliment. Happy Holidays!
  3. the doctor didn't mention rsv and I did have the vaccine for it, but who knows? Definitely bronchitis. So sorry to hear about your hand. What a crazy way to end your trip. Hope you heal quickly! Happy holidays!
  4. Thank you. We sure do forget that there are other things out there, that's for sure. I had come prepared and ready for covid and got sick with something else. Who would have thought?! Happy Holidays!!
  5. Well looks like it just wasn't seasickness that kept me in bed the last afternoon and night of the cruise as I'm now really sick with bronchitis. I had a hard time even walking off the ship on Saturday and am floored at how quickly this all came about. I felt fine Friday morning. Doctor has me on a z pack, steroids, inhaler and prescription cough meds. Hoping I recover quickly. Even with the bad weather and ending up sick, I really did enjoy my time on the Sky, met a lot of great people and really enjoyed the crew. It's just a bumpy ride back into reality!
  6. I couldn't agree with you more, the crew on the Sky made up for the lousy weather we had the entire trip. Great crew on board.
  7. Thank you. Never thought about the club soda and bitters. I will have to try that next time. I will say I was treated with such kindness. Steve went to dinner at the Catch by Rudi last night and when the Ciprian, the DRO found out I wasn't feeling well, he had chicken noodle soup and green apples delivered to me. He is an incredible guy and that certainly touched my heart. I will say it again, Princess crew is just amazing.
  8. Disembarkation was normal tonight and even a bit early
  9. Well looks like I'm spending the evening in. just want to say it was fun meeting you @Hlitner enjoyed our conversation and your company. we may have had terrible weather, but the crew made up for it. We have once again met some amazing crew and this solidifies how much I love Princess. It's the crew. hope anyone who gets off tomorrow has safe travels
  10. thanks. The thought of dinner makes me want to throw up!! I'll see if I can get some green apples. I told Steve to go enjoy the night and his dinner. I was fine all morning and even spent time in the sanctuary.
  11. UGH it's rough and I'm sea sick. Just took a zofran so i am hoping it's works. We have dinner plans at catch my rudi.
  12. Even with nasty weather, the Sanctuary is still my favorite place! IMG_2313.mov
  13. Watched the cooking demonstration which was funny and we enjoyed the galley tour that followed. It's great to see some of the people that work so hard in the back which we don't get to interact with. I highly recommend d taking the time for this.
  14. we were in a midship suite on Caribe. as we were by the elevator banks. Our kids actually has their cabin on the other side so they were okay.
  15. I'm so not looking forward to being in that on the ship or driving across alligator alley in it.
  16. I know where youare coming from. We were having the best cruise ever when the Star Princes fire happened. Even though my cabin was destroyed and I left with the clothes on my back, we still look back on it with fond memories. I chose to remember all the fun times we had on that.sailing. It actually was one of the best!
  17. yes, for Roatan and Belize it's was one hour behind. Then we got to Mexico and went back to EST.
  18. That's great. Wish we could have joined you. Hope to see you both tomorrow.
  19. I have not seen Aaron today. I can look tomorrow and will see if I can get a message to him. And Bruno will still be here for the next sailing.
  20. Bruno is getting off soon, but we had a spectacular dinner in Crown Grill tonight. If he isn't available, ask for Stephen. So nice to see management again walking around to all the tables. I'm once again a very happy camper!
  21. The "walk of shame" as they held the ship for this passenger and met him on the pier.
