  1. On the M-Class you get a slightly bigger room. But yes, for $2k more I would book a reg. Balcony, spa pass and specialty package
  2. Generally this is only the case if you're a suite guest. Was on a 15 night Millie repo sailing at only 37% capacity, as a non suite guest, nothing was available any earlier than 830 and most nights were either 9 or 930
  3. Ironically, the ones in the high-tier suites are the ones with the largest OBC who can dine in specialty restaurants for free
  4. I posted about if X was indeed trying to steer folks to the specialty restaurants. One person (Maxwell) has claimed X will follow in the MDR path of RCI and some changes are coming. Yesterday TeeRick said he spoke to a senior officer about the OVC and said they said they're working to offer some more choices. Not sure if either change will be enough
  5. Did you purchase before 2023? A few have reported for 2023 that's now gone along with $10/$20 CC/AQ upgrades
  6. On board they'll be flexible if you request a refund
  7. If the ship is in port for dinner, we have no problem "forfeiting" Blu/MDR dinner for a land restaurant
  8. While others get lucky and they reply in a day or two, always takes at least a week for me. If you didn't include your booking number, email them again with it
  9. I'm in the Summit in Aug and checked the menu, Le Petit is $70.80 + 18% 🤔. Did the math, the odd amount of $70.80 over $55.00 is an 28.72% increase Absolutely NUTS that for a couple, the all in cost is $167.08
  10. But there's no food in the OVC (satire)...
  11. Celebrity is the FOODIE cruise line* *Applies to guests staying in The Retreat only
  12. When I found some on a gift reselling site, they have specific terms that they're for booking I believe it was capped by a certain amount, $1k. You state Amazon credit "need to use", which makes me think it's expiring. You can a combo of different gift cards, like Apple, SouthWest Airlines, Starbucks, Uber, Lyft, Door Dash, Best Buy, any chain restaurant, etc
  13. Not the first time shoreside customer service has been wrong, they're most likely wrongly assuming that Luminae is a "perk" which it isn't
  14. You pay the prorated amount per night. Once you start, you cannot stop it. Both statements are also true for purchasing the internet or an internet upgrade
  15. Agree with all and wanted to add, good luck getting a specialty dining reservation at a favorable time if at all…
  16. Shoreside sells the package and let’s the ship deal with the reservation. Seems like they’re trained to first attempt to get you to accept any available reservations, only after you threaten to cancel, will they “find” non-published reservations. The worst part is, walk by a supposedly full specialty restaurant at 6, 630 or 7 and you often see about half the tables unoccupied
  17. 100% agree with this but would change from RUDE to DISRUPTIVE guests. Does anyone know if the dining crew have access to a phone or a walkie talkie/radio? Otherwise it could take what, 5-10mins roundtrip to walk from a back corner to the host stand
  18. "Judging is everything today"? I seem to be missing your point as people have always judged
  19. Like hotels and airfare, cruise pricing is dynamic, generally the chief reason for price increase is lack of category inventory (aka supply and demand)
  20. If you don't yet have the app, download it and log in, once the app is open, go into your profile, select your CC number and CUT it, select SAVE below, go back and PASTE your CC number and select SAVE again. This has worked for many including myself. Should take under a minute
  21. To the OP, everyone is a bit different but I'd recommend just going to the buffet which has hot coffee 24/7
