  1. Most likely a pre-pandemic photo that no one has bothered to update
  2. Even more so if you're going to have MULTIPLE mimosas
  3. Pinel Island is located on the coast of the Caribbean island of St Martin
  4. Usually, there's a primary reason and a bunch of minor reasons. I'm not sure if minimizing crowds or even practicing social distancing was ever a thing on Celebrity. Was on the 5th Edge sailing and someone asked Capt Kate why is half the MDR closed because we were sitting on top of each other she answered Celebrity didn't go the social distant route X did nothing to prevent crowding anywhere else on that sailing as it was alive and well during the Capt jewelry collection reveal, free jewelry gift, liquor tasting, art auctions, casino, the late night sky lounge DJ encouraged dancing with strangers, lines to get off and on the ship/guest service/restaurants, etc
  5. Who knows, maybe this will motivate X to add a couple more to the security team to look at the cameras
  6. We only sailed on X once pre-pandemic in the summer of 2019, we boarded at peak time as there was a long line, and we didn't notice any log jam but I'm sure it does happen. My WAG (Wild A$$ Guess), it takes additional labor to post someone at the gangway door, someone has to transport the bubbly to them, transport the clean glasses, and transport the dirty glasses. Having it at Cafe Al Bacio greatly reduces labor and the overall amount consumed as many don't know about it or will just skip it due to having the drink package which
  7. I can confirm there was another who was female and from the Philippines as of last spring. So now we have at least two
  8. Good: Starlink E-Muster Bad: Food quality Service due to being understaffed Price increases
  9. FYI, as @Joker54 pointed out, the new CEO is RCG. When they replaced LLP, they stripped the title of CEO so now Laura is only the new President, not the CEO
  10. Borderline gross. Did you ask if they can review security footage? I'd be interested to determine who stole it
  11. Common issue on M-Class as Blu has too little seating for the amount of AQ staterooms
  12. If I had something stolen, I'd have no problem with security searching my room to validate I didn't misremember
  13. 1) You would have to imagine if you're a thief, you're not going to steal a Kindle 2) You should put anything with a screen under a towel to prevent direct sunlight from destroying it (I accidentally killed an iPhone in under an hour by leaving it out). 3) The ship has cameras almost everywhere including the lido deck
  14. Thanks for following up as this was part of the missing info. Of all the flight issues one can experience, this is fairly common and airlines almost always give you the option to cancel and be refunded which would kill this reservation, and then you could make a new reservation I've always questioned how much FBC is allowed to spend in the event one's original flight was canceled by the airline last minute and that airline doesn't have any options; would FBC book one onto another flight on a different airline if the now last-minute fare was 5x expensive?
  15. Slip him a $5, well worth the money
  16. If the terminal allows that, as stated, San Pedo (L.A.) doesn't, you have to wait in a long line to obtain your tags if you didn't bring them
  17. 100%. I'm also wondering what exactly they're telling the OP to do, are they saying something like "Sorry we couldn't help you on this sailing, is there another sailing we can help you book?" (lol)
  18. What's surprising to me is the OP is claiming FBC is forcing them to fly out of the originally booked airport despite the entire flight being canceled. Very strange rule especially since FBC claims they'll get you to the ship. The original reservation should be refunded and if the OP wishes, they could book a new reservation with FBC or directly
  19. The time to complain is when on board, shore excursions will usually give you back credit, and if you complain to guest services, possibly an OBC With an independent dive operator, you do have to research to confirm the dive operator you're booking isn't the same one the ship uses. Often the dive shops all know each other in the same location so one could call any of them and ask if they know which operator does the cruise ship dives because you're trying to avoid them
  20. When did you receive the certificate, on the very night night? That's how Royal does it which supposedly X is joining/mirroring
  21. I did say (which you quoted) "shark-feeding" which was accompanied by a picture. If you want to dive with tigers, you do so in the Bahamas. Now where is there a higher concentration of tiger sharks, that I cannot answer, and is compounded by the fact they migrate
  22. As reported here, some have received an extra $150-ish charge in error bundled into their charge for a mini-bar charge. Be sure to check your final invoice amount against what's actually charged on your card
  23. I'm guessing there's a cutoff so may be SOL if you win 3 days out
