  1. We will be on this ship and this itinerary this summer. Can't wait for more!
  2. I'm headed to the UK this summer as well. Read this for Scottish history: A History Of Scotland Kindle Edition by Neil Oliver Great read. Slow start but it was pretty riveting once the Vikings stopped raiding all the seacoast villages! Enough info there to understand and appreciate what was going on without getting too granular. Would like a recommend for Ireland like that.
  3. Say I feel bad the day before we debark. I use one of my tests. Yup. Covid positive. Tell the airline I can't fly. Now what? Do I have to tell London health authorities? Do I have to tell my hotel? Do I have to stay put in my hotel room for five days? I don't want to do anything wrong or violate the rules but Mr. Google is not helping me find the rules...
  4. and now I can't see how to edit my post! or delete it! 😬
  5. Wife checked the app this morning and for some reason we were able to book our seats. Didn't work yesterday. Did today. KEEP TRYING!
  6. Uh ... not in my iPhone. All I get is "Allow MedallionClass to access" and then photos, bluetooth, camera, siri & search, notifications. Can't open the app from there and can't see a version number. iPhone folks? Help?
  7. Any way to check whether you have the most current version of the app? Don't really want to risk a delete app if I am up to date. Yeah, I know ... you're not going to lose your data... but I am a "if it isn't broke don't fix it" guy. I *think* I'm up to date. How do you check that?
  8. We haven't been ticketed for June 26 yet... so you're ahead of us! #frustrating
  9. I see that. And that is important. However, it may still be worth purchasing/using as a "it doesn't hurt so why not try it" step. I don't want to debate or argue it, I just want to know where to get it! Esp where to get it online.
  10. A very good friend of mine is in the travel industry and is saying their system is d-o-w-n. Big time down. Travel agents can't even book. It's not you. It's them.
  11. I can find Cofix but not in a package like you're showing here. Where'd you get that?
  12. In the US we have some expected percentages in restaurants, coffee shops, etc. Trying to see what that looks like over in the UK. What's the "standard" tip? What would be a "wow, this was way above and beyond what I expected and I want you to know it with this tip" tip? Do we tip in local currency or US dollars? Is there a standard tip for excursion guides? Oh yes ... what about offending with a tip? Any place Americans tip because that's what we do over here but in the UK it's a big no-no and offends people? Thanks!
  13. Not interested in debating it, just want to know if anyone has had an official with Princess say "you can't do that" or "that's okay but don't do ______." I'm guessing nothing that leaves a sticky residue or intrudes into the hallway, obstructs the room steward etc. We're talking a simple sign with magnets so I can find my door easily. And ... anyone got door dimensions? Thanks.
  14. I'd really like a kettle to make coffee first thing in the morning. Yes, I know you can get a thermos of hot water via room service. Yes, I know they have coffee in food court upstairs. I want my own kettle to make my own coffee on my own balcony. #coffeesnob So... how do I get one without being in a high dollar suite? I'd really like a kettle in my balcony room. Have you asked your room steward for a kettle? Did you get one? Thoughts on how to get a kettle? Please help keep this thread on track - it's about kettles. Thanks!
