  1. Highly doubt they'll cancel. Even though the ship is homeported in NJ, it does a lot of provisioning at PC.
  2. That Liberty frequency lines up very nicely with 9-night frequencies from Cape Liberty. Stops in time to change to 9-night Canada/New England for the fall. The every 4th week itineraries...in the past, where have ships of that frequency been home ported? The every other weekers are obviously Florida, alternating Eastern/Western. But Harmony, then Oasis, Vision, Adventure and Explorer in the winter...
  3. We went out of Cape Liberty at the end of May this year. Embarkation day was hot and sunny, our son spent the afternoon in Splashaway Bay. The rest of the days, the weather was very comfortable outside, but not really warm enough to swim. Great hot tub weather, though. Weather in Halifax was great for being outdoors, in the low 70s.
  4. I believe Liberty sailed briefly from up here after Explorer left (and she'll be back next summer).
  5. Given you're behind Central Park, 1) fewer cabins in that section of the ship (interiors are replaced by the CP stores) and 2) most people going forward elevators to the aft will go through Central Park. You should be fine.
  6. We're on the sailing with you in August, and it's not just the suite prices for that trip that have gone nuts. An interior guarantee right now is more than we paid for an ultraspacious balcony the week it opened. My folks booked a 2D balcony, their cabin is up 40% from when they booked. I get it's a high-demand trip (the only 9N on Oasis out of Cape Liberty), but if we hadn't booked early, we wouldn't be on it now.
  7. Pretty sure there's a significant difference between testing for COVID pre-cruise if you are feeling well versus testing because you experience symptoms, test positive and knowingly get on the ship with COVID.
  8. We're on 8/4, as well. Didn't think it possible for Oasis to have a better itinerary than whatever other ship is based out of CL for the 9-nighters, but alas, '23 Oasis wins hands down.
  9. It isn't so much a letter as it is a form or document. However, it is fully CDC compliant, so unless DCL is asking for more than the CDC was, it will suffice.
  10. Has anyone used a Certificate of Recovery to board an RCI ship? My wife and son both tested positive this week and we sail at the end of the month. Especially interested in a CoR for my son to hopefully avoid the test at the pier (he's 3.5, so unvaxxed and requires the test at the pier).
