Once on board make sure you speak to Maitre D ASAP and they will ensure everything is in order.

Check Mears transportation. They show that they service Miami and Fort Lauderdale. We had a SUV take us from Disney to seaworld. They provided a convertible car seat for my daughter and a booster for my son. We had a great experience and I would use them again.

Do Mears now provide car seats? They didn't when I tried previously. They are certainly a well known reputable company.

Do operate in Miami? that is another option possibly

I would love to do Atlantis but when we went on Allure few years back the just isn't enough time to justify the price.

I guess it will be the same outcome when we go on Oasis next year

Yes, we have used the Blue Light discount on both Celebrity and Royal Caribbean. It ended up being about 8% discount but still a decent saving. The discount is only on the cruise fare portion of the price so doesn't include port taxes.

Pretty much guaranteed that Royal will raise the current price at least once before your sailing.

I think that is a fairly safe bet :D

As someone who gave up on Tux sometime back but does wear a suit....I have certainly been in the minority on UK sailings not in a Tux.....an odd person wears neither but you will stand out.

On P&O I was very much in the minority in a suit.

The Blue Light Card cost £4.99 for 5 years and it is for members of the Fire Brigade, Police Force, NHS and also Armed Forces. You can get discounts at different shops and services and also from P & O and Cunard ( which we have had) . For Royal Caribbean it says 10% and gives a number to phone. I just wondered if anyone had claimed it.

Wasn't aware of Blue Light Card....The is a lack of any detail on their website.

I have used Health Service Discounts which gave me 5% off P&O.

If you give it a go let us know how you get on...10% is much better than anything else you will get I suspect.

I like the breakfast sandwiches but I find that they are never warm enough...or at least that is how they were on on Allure and Oasis. Were they hot on Harmony?

I found them fine on both Allure & Harmony. Guess it depends on when they come out.

They are certainly better than the horrible McDonalds equivalent.

Ask about them.

UK rules are different to US and I was offered a ridiculous price to upgrade when price had also dropped.

Contacted C&A and they upgraded me :D

We find Royal Caribbean very good with food allergies.

I would however have a word in the restaurant as soon as possible on boarding to ensure they are aware. The dishes in Wonderland take time to prepare

Park Café roast beef sandwich was very good regardless of someone earlier saying it wasn't.

 

I actually liked food at the Dog House but it seemed to never be opened when I wanted something. Maybe I'm weird but a good hotdog is a treat for me.

No the beef sandwich is good but the breakfast muffins are even better BUT rarely talked about.

I think the is a big problem with toilets on Jewel.

The is a odd little video telling you what not to flush down the toilet playing in the cabin first day.

Does anyone really flush banana skins down the toilet?

I guess as the video told us not to do it the answer must be yes

Alternatively Park Cafe...but not the beef sandwich everyone else goes on about BUT the bacon & Egg McMuffin equivalents are amazing :D

That has not been our experience. We never saw ice cream machines. We saw frozen yogurt machines. Definitely not the same thing.

Many will charge a premium.

We did use a good company a few years back but don't think I'm allowed to name on here.

So close to the cut ff they almost certainly will although officially I believe it is based on age on boarding

Since it's only set up at night, I'd prefer the set up to having to climb a ladder to bed

It is a really good set up.

Much better with 2 kids as they each have their own bed.

I would not do any package put together by the cruise line.

Anyone with basic common sense could arrange this on their own.

These types of things are for the people who cannot get to the local grocery store without a talking GPS guiding them there...

Royal Caribbean packages vary from very reasonable to very expensive.

They often provide much, much cheaper flights to the US from UK than I can get elsewhere.

Been on Allure few years back(might have been 2013 as well!).

Excellent night.

Fancy Dress parade, decorations & the disco was turned into a genuinely terrifying haunted house.

Well if more people think like you and go to the show then there will be more chairs by the pool for people like me.;)

Doubt it...they will reserve their sunbeds with towels as they watch the show

The solarium food outlet is very small compared to Vision. Not even a coffee/tea station.... I'll check and let you know re brekkie!

They had coffee/tea in the solarium in the evening in April. Wasn't out during the day though.

One of the easiest places I have ever travelled.

Taxis are good and prices from airport & pier are set.
