We always do a day early...now. We had a Princess cruise from SFO and we were flying LAS to SFO via LAX on Reno Air---tells you how long ago this was. Everything was fine until the fog rolled into LAX delaying our flight, cancelling our connecting flight and we just got to the ship in SFO just in time. NEVER AGAIN!

We are on Celebrity Solstice on 2 Sept to Alaska and staying at Marriott Waterfront. Two questions: 1. Can we walk to the ship from the hotel 2. Anyone know how to book a reservation at Anthony's Pier 66 for 1 Sept? I have been trying for months and getting an error message.

Its Sunday brunch, I was trying to avoid doing the buffet but something a bit nicer.

Maybe an RCCL issue overall then.

We have lucked out with all the changes of schedule DL has bestowed upon lucky us, we always managed to keep our original seats.

I will be on the Solstice docked in Ketchikan from 7 AM - 4 PM. Are there any restaurants on board that would be open for a "Sunday Brunch" or would I be better looking in town?

I just received my order following the links on Celebrity Cruises and was very annoyed. Optum did not put enough postage on the box and I had to pay $3.45 to receive my "free shipping" box. Anyone else experience this or am I the lucky one?

I had no problem with Flights by X. We are booked LAX-SEA in Sept, we were able to book first, and when I booked, it gave a phone number to Flights by X and she assured our Frequent Flyer numbers were in and assisted with seats. I am now able to go onto Delta's website and see my flights. Several times since booking Delta changed the schedule. I received an email from Flights by X before Delta emailed me.

Interesting. I would suspect this in ports but not on a ship, certainly not Celebrity.

There website is finicky at best. If you back out of a page incorrectly it locks it up and you have to wait a few hours for it to auto reset.

Well, it's a no. I asked DH yesterday what he wanted on his matching cruise shirts and he said, "for us to leave them at home."

With alcohol I noticed clear is better than dark. a 4 oz martini is 6 points while a 4 oz old fashioned is 12. They nice thing to is I have a safe nice walking path with a great view at my beck and call. I can even walk at night and be safe.

So no French night or Baked Alaska HA!

We have a Sept cruise coming up. Does anyone see the Concierge Class benefits going back to where they were pre-pandemic by then?

Since I booked my cruise, I have had to join Weight Watchers since ole Doc said I was 50 pounds over. I know there are WW specific cruises occaisionally, but this is my first on X. We are doing a mainline cruise to Alaska, and while I don't want to spend the entire cruise counting my 28 points, I don't want to blow through them either. Any suggestions? I am a foodie, which is what got me to this point.

That is the thing about the different drink packages. I upgraded to the top package because I like to try new whiskys or whiskeys and scotches, so for me it is not worth it. Unfortunately, everyone in the cabin has to upgrade. This does not work well for DH who does not drink, but more juices and waters are available.
