Anyone currently on Caribbean Princess that could ask Oliva Guthrie if she'll be continuing this summer as the Cruise Director on the Caribbean to Norway? I had her last year on the Crown to Hawaii and really liked her. Hoping she'll be on the Caribbean in June. 🙂

We have home security as well. I would like to recommend that you add a family member or trusted friend for them to call in case of an emergency. There's nothing you can do for the emergency if you are out on the sea. Your friend or family member can take care of the situation and also call you to keep you in the loop. just a suggestion. 😉

These excursions are listed through the Princess excursion list for our cruise. I thought it seemed a little weird, too. That's why I am asking. I thought "well, maybe they know something I don't?" LOL!!

Cruising on Princess June 14th. I was wondering if anyone has participated in either of these excursions and what your thoughts are of them? Both are offered in Alta. I'm I wasting my time for hopes to see any lights? I know June is the Midnight Sun, so I am being realistic, but if there is a slight CHANCE to see the lights, I'd like to do one or the other. Northern Lights Safari At Paeskatun or In Search Of The Northern Lights.

Just got off the Allure. Definitely a Body Wash/Shampoo combo in the shower. Worked fine for me for a 3 day cruise, but if I were doing a longer cruise I would bring my own shampoo. That's just me.

I would email the vacation planner you have been using and see if they respond.

My daughter had her scissors taken on our last cruise (she brought her crocheting supplies). So, I would recommend some small scissors (think school size).

I hope she is there in June when we go to Norway. I really liked her on my last cruise. 🙂

I would recommend having the reservation match either the passport or match the driver's license. If it matches the passport, then you are all set. If you match the Driver's license, then you will also need a certified copy of your birth certificate AND a certified copy of the marriage certificate to show any name differences. If it were me, I would take all of it. It's better to have it and not need it than wish you had it and watch the ship leave without you. Photocopies of the certificates are NOT allowed. They must be certified copies. Hope this helps. 🙂 Edited to say: I honestly believe while in port and re-boarding the ship, the i.d. won't matter, as long as the picture on the i.d. matches the person presenting it. That's just my opinion. I would recommend calling RCCL to verify that.

That's true in regard to resting. My daughter flew to Germany last month and was exhausted after she got there because of the time change. I am definitely taking this into consideration.

I did notice that was true back in 2020 when I booked for a trip to Alaska and ended up booking two or three, here and there. I will look at BA, as well. 3 of us have flight certificates that about to expire with Delta, that is why I've been looking at those. Our cruise goes June 14th - 30th (Land of the MIdnight Sun. 🙂 )

I think I know what your responses are going to be, but I'm gonna ask anyway. . . Due to MONEY, My family of 9 would really like to fly in the day of our cruise. Delta has an overnight flight that leaves 5:45 p.m. and arrives in LHR at 6:55 a.m. with NO layovers or transfers. We are planning to book princess transfers to get from LHR to the Southampton cruise port. Are most direct flights reliable to do this? With 9 people that's a lot of extra money to arrive a day early, for transportation, hotels, etc to spend an extra day in London,

Your are right Cruiser Bruce, we definitely don't, but I have a very dependent/needy family who tend to cling to whatever I choose. 4 of these are my kids (age 16 -30). Since I've invited them to go with me, I feel it's my place to pay for their excursions. My mom will gladly pay her way, but my sister and BIL are not able to afford much beyond the cruise fare. So they may do a lot of ports on their own, thus I was wondering which ports that would be best. 🙂

My family of 9 will be going to Norway next June. Excursions get very expensive for 9 people. Which of these ports would you recommend to DEFINITELY do an excursion at and which ones do you feel would be good for just walking around on our own? Thanks for you help!
