There was a sticker advising it must be in lock position on our cabin on Valiant. Pro-tip - it's a small magnet that makes contact with the white door sensor on the top area of the frame that will trigger the AC back on. *😉

We had a total of 4 grog walks on our 6 night sailing. Two on first and two on second last night. We went on the first night, and both grogs stopped at the casino for the last bar/drink. We went to dinner before, and would highly suggest you do as well, the snacks for the walk were like chips, pretzels (for loose canon stop from the diner).

Went on Valiant mid-April and it wasn't very drunk party at all! Dock/Dock house was relaxing to hang out if you get a lounger, board/card games by the arcade, or deck above the pool deck with swings/private couch things with the numbers. It was slightly odd, as when I did want a drink, there weren't as many servers serving drinks on outside upper decks compared to Royal/Celebrity/NCL (I.e. pool or near mid/back upper deck). I also found the bars kinda just meh tbh, Sip was nice - but limited seating and lighting was too bright. The overall bar setups, didn't seem condusive to sitting around but moreso grabbing a drink to bring somewhere else. Crowd was the most diverse crowd I've been on a cruise before (in a good way). Fellow sailors also seemed way more considerate and quiet compared to other lines (hardly any cabin noise late night or early mornings on deck 11). Soda being included was also nice.

Dining wise, our group of 5 had same experience in The Wake as you. Sevice took about three hours. Extra Virgin was also just as slow. The Wake and Razzle Dazzle for bruch was also a sloth. Fortunately the rest were quick with Test Kitchen being super fast (I think as they don't need to customize each dish, they can pump out service and meals quickly). It seems like they really don't try to decrease table turn around time to allow for more dining slots per night. 🤷 How has the wifi been so far?

Disembarked yesterday (April 22) and they had everyone disembark early at 9:45 instead of 11am. You could see the film/camera crew running around, and eating in the galley at 8am. Kinda made it feel that the marketing of Virgin was more important than passenger experience at that point.

Not sure if this is still the case, but back in January there were two types of aluminum water bottles. Proud Source Alkaline water, and Celebrity branded water. The Celebrity branded did taste slightly off, but they kept handing out the Proud Source.
