Following because we have June 2023 cruise and when we went to Alaska pre pandemic, in order to get the pick of the litter we scheduled in September for shore excursions for early summer. My Big Box travel agency sent "private" excursions (and expensive ones), but we were not interested in those. They are now all sold out.

Last cruise was our first Diamond cruise and with the 4 free drinks. We are not big drinkers, but I was loving the bottled water. My kids are also Diamond and I was telling them to get "the bottled water" and give to me. I drink a lot of water per day. 🙂 Tipped $1 for each bottle of water. I know, I know $13 alcoholic drink vs Bottled water. But it worked for our family. We don't drink coffee either. I did try a few alcoholic drinks this past cruise, and will try some new ones next time "just because it is free". But my wallet was huge with those dollar bills!

The Diamond Voucher did not work for my kids who are also Diamond. We used the 1/2 price coupon for the milkshakes. My kids don't drink anything other than water and the occasional milkshake. I was loving using their vouchers for bottled water. And the staff loved me since I tipped for each bottled water they gave me.

What I've always wondered is why you needed to upload your initial vaccination doses every time you cruised? Boosters, ok... you might add new boosters. But once you uploaded your original 2 dose (or 1 dose J&J) what will change? I cruised this April and again in June. For my June cruise the database should have been set up to just recognize that I already have those initial doses and they were approved. Maybe that is what is going on? If you already proved your vaccination you don't need to for future cruising? Just my 2 cents. 🙂

THIS. My daughters would say "Let's do this". I check app. I say "Not showing" and lo and behold the paper compass was right. The only features I like on the app are checking my Account and the Dinner menus.

Yeah, my teens complied with my "suggestions to semi- quarantine" before cruise, but hated me saying "IF we cruise, IF we test negative...." But I will also say that my teens DO care if they get COVID and don't want to get it in general. So far only my husband had COVID (that we know of). He had symptoms and we put him in "jail" by himself. He he. The 3 of us in the household have not had symptoms that produced a positive test. Since January myself and my teens had been sick with colds. We went to Dr., tested and were negative. My cold was my first in years and lasted 2 weeks! But not COVID.

I did this just a few weeks ago. Now maybe it was different for me because I was linked to my daughters' cabin and they are both under 18. And I had them linked in the APP. When it was time to pick a time to check in I just logged in on the APP as me, and I could check in all 4 of us. (2 in each cabin). I could also upload all 4 of our vaccination cards using the APP at 1 time. Finally, once it was straightened out on the cruise, I was able to see my cabin's purchases and their purchases (which was $0) because we were linked and I held the credit card on file for both cabins. I went on a Harmony cruise in April 2022 solo. Never got COVID. Flash forward to a few weeks ago, family of four on Oasis , VERY crowded ship. NO COVID for any of us. Guess we are the lucky ones. I will say that the first full day on that Oasis cruise I was totally uncomfortable with the crowds, not because of COVID, just because I hate crowds and the last few years had everyone staying away from each other. I quickly learned to go left while others went right and it was a much more enjoyable cruise for us!

I got the new design last week on Oasis. First thought “ what’s with the glorified Dixie cup?” . But it worked for me and I actually found it easier to carry around since it was a slimmer design. just my opinion.

Thanks for your great review with pictures. I’ll have to look at them at home this WiFi was so frustrating. We did try your WiFi trick which helped, but just not as fast as I am used to on a ship. I did not find Waldo! And I tried! Oh well another time. Enjoy your Greece cruise . I will be watching that one for sure! One more note. Comparing balcony cabins Harmony and Oasis. Harmony wins hands down. Even though you get less cubbies in the bathroom and cabin I feel the closet is organized so much better and Harmony cabin just feels bigger. Even shower feels a bit larger. I also appreciated the balcony seating in harmony. The recliners and footrests. still a great time!

The WiFi has been so incredibly frustrating. Interfering with following and contributing to this thread! @BennyBrunI hope you don’t have too much work to do. I can’t even log into my work outlook half the time. I said I would compare Oasis gym to Harmony gym. ( was on Harmony early April). I liked the “ workout space” where classes are held on Harmony better. More private. I tend to do my own thing and I feel in display here on Oasis. As far as classes ,haven’t taken many on this ship, though the fitness instructor is healthy on this ship. The same arrogant “ I’m a cruise fitness instructor and you are just trying to pretend to workout on your vacation “ attitude. Ugh. The Harmony instructor at least seemed to care and be nice when I first met him. Anyway, ab class on Day 2 was INSANE with crowds. Never saw such a crowded class. I’ve bailed on it after that since I was having sleeping issues, but some have said it’s still been busy. I like the amount of treadmills and I LOVE the hand weight selection for women (5-15 pounds). Harmony had those standard smelly metal weights. Plus this ship has HUGE exercise mats and plenty available to use. Crowds not bad in morning like 8/9 ish. Seemed to get busier today after 10. I’ve been going most days. Never had problem getting a treadmill. But I also use 5 th floor walking track. That has been busy at all times of morning and afternoon. I was a bit surprised, then again this ship is super packed! sorry for the “ book”. 😏

We bought through Royal’s excursion. I paid around $75 pp which included admission and transportation. I got it on a sale…. Normally $84 pp I think.

Had the English Trifle from dining room. It was great!

Then you would have appreciated my teens. They were in awe, didn’t take their eyes off the show and gave it 300 out of 10!

My husband and I did mini golf at 8 am before breakfast. Was fab!
